2:50. I love these soundtracks. Thank goodness for the Beau Hunks for preserving it.

Really liked seeing old LA in the buggy ride.
Also the kid being spanked in the ‘end’ ... that used to be common back in the day... it kept kids humble and obedient not like the monsters nowadays.

nowadays, kids are punished by sending them to their room. Which is filled with video games, TVs, computers, smart phone, lap tops, etc. It's not a punishment. It's almost as good as prison is nowadays.

Good short. Johnny Downs was thoroughly nasty as the bully, Toughey -- or Tuffy, as he spells it on his various signs, ordering the other kids around, but the title cards call him Toughey, like Mickey's nemesis, played by Gabe Saienz in several earlier shorts. I wonder if they were supposed to be the same character? Not that there was often much continuity in these old comedy shorts. Not sure why the gang abruptly decides to give up teaming up all together to take the bully down and pick two of them to fight him by drawing marbles from the box. They literally had Toughey on the run, and ultimately, they do indeed come together to give him his comeuppance. But I guess we'd miss a lot of funny stuff with Joe and Farina if they hadn't drawn the black marbles.

This isn't from Pathecomedy, it's from MGM, Hal Roach switched distribution from Pathe to MGM in 1927.

This absolutely is a Pathecomedy and it's from 1926. There were several films AFTER this one that were Pathecomedy films before they switched to MGM. Google it!
