Talk about Relating the scriptures to us in our day - this was fabulous! Dr. Muhlstein is amazing in this way! Thank you for helping me to understand and believe again that there is nothing we can do that is beyond the atonement of Jesus Christ! Thank you for making the Old Testament scriptures so pertinent to us today!
Even though I have thought I believe Jesus and have been working on this concept of continual repentance, I have learned so much here today. Thank you, thank you!
I think the story of Miriam is about love and what should happen after correction has been given in our homes and lives, the camp waited a whole week until she was fit to move coz no1 should be left behind. Loved that part on believing Christ, believe that He can take care of me and change me, no matter how many times i fall, murmur and how many dumb mistakes i make in my way to flea Babylon. ❤️❤️ Thank you teams behind the scenes for amazing edits and all the work you do.
Thank you for emphasizing that we need to believe that God truly has the power to redeem and exalt us. This is helping me to let go of the false teachings of perfection I learned as a child in Sunday School.
I love and have learned from this so much. Our Savior is full of love, mercy and hope. We can fully put our faith and trust in Him. I definitely feel the weight more lifted off my shoulders and onto my Savior. Thank you so much for this podcast.
John, when you brought Elder Uchtdorf's analogy of "course correcting", it made me think, "That's the purpose of the sacrament. It's an opportunity to course correct every week". Then, I also thought about how much more difficult it is to course correct when we take too long to do so...
Love this! Love you guys! And yet it does matter and we can’t forget that while some wandered for 40 years others had to die off so the others could learn to rely on the Lord. What does that say to someone on the other side of 70? It does matter at some point if you don’t overcome some of your afflictions in this life. Somehow it’s a combo of Let Us All Press On mixed with More Holiness Give Me. And often when we continue to repeat our sins it really matters to those who have to live with the consequences of the sinner’s repeated sins.
The serpent was the thing that would kill them; the raised serpent was what would save them. Likewise, Christ, (the Word or the Law He gave) would kill us, but the raised Christ will save us from that very death.
Thank you so much for the work you put into these videos. I loved Elder Uchtdorf's story of course correction. Can you tell us where to find that talk? I would love to quote it but I feel like I need the talk. I know I was visiting another ward one time and I made a comment and quoted a General authority. A man almost jumped from his chair, asking where I had found that quote. When I told him he calmed down. Now, I have always made sure* that I know where a talk comes from.
Abraham and God had a loving relationship, this is a great example of loving God, Abraham knew God and trusted God so much he was going to sacrifice his own son, Love and trust are the keys. Truly loving God, with all your heart, mind, and soul, it is not about worrying if you are going to be exalted, or if you are going to see your family members when you die, but your heart needs to be filled with love for the Lord so much that you want to be with Him always. You can not know the true savior unless you spend time with him, how much time do you spend with your loved ones, Jesus needs to know you, for he will not know you on your last day. Matthew talks about the many who say they have done wonderous things in His name but Matt 7:23 says And then I will declare to them, I never knew you, depart from me. Christians believe you must acknowledge the Holy Spirit and Jesus with love and knowingness for they dwell in you.

Wow! So glad to hear it! Was there anything in particular that stood out to you?
@@LatterDaily the archetypal journey- the journey that could take 11 days walking took 40 years and how am I making an 11 day journey take 40 years?
So good...especially the insight to believe Christ. I’ve heard it a hundred times (many) but it sunk in more this time! Thank all three of you!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Wonderful!
Great lessons from road trippin' with Moses! Thanks for your insights and testimonies. You have made the Old Testament come alive and relevant for me.
More to come!

And then I "unpaused" and heard you say it 😜
Thank you so much for listening, friend!

What a fantastic comment, friend! Such great insight.

That's a very interesting insight, Rich. Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
