Great unboxing and overview, David. I just grabbed this one myself because I grew up on The Flintstones- yep I'm that old. 😂😂 I'm so happy to see classic cartoons getting the Blu-ray treatment. Enjoy!
Great Unboxing the flintstones Is one of my favorite Hanna barbera cartoons This show has a great balance of gags and character driven moments and themes they’ve explored I used to watch this show all the time when it was on Cartoon Network in the early 2000s
I agree, James! Great thoughts. Cartoon Network was a staple in my childhood. Dexter’s Lab was my first real CN obsession. And if I’m being honest, really anything Genndy Tartakovsky touches turns to gold.
@@FilmCollectorArchive recently genndy made primal for adult swim and so far I enjoyed what I’ve seen of it anyways do you remember Johnny bravo cow and chicken I am weasel courage the cowardly dog powerpuff girls ed edd and eddy sheep in the big city time squad billy and Mandy evil con carne kids next door and robot jones those are also great Cartoon Network shows
Yep. Primal is amazing!!! I’m just waiting on the next batch of episodes. The last episode, “Rage of the Ape-Men” was absolutely nuts! I’ve heard of most of the other shows you brought up. Past Samurai Jack, I get a bit hazy. I do love Adventure Time.
@@FilmCollectorArchive adventure time is one of my favorite Cartoon Network shows as well It’s style of humor and it’s use of randomness is what makes the show the show even does story arcs which some are hit or miss but I appreciate the writing team for trying something new for the series Plus without adventure time I don’t think shows like regular show bravest warriors or king star king would ever exist although superjail existed before adventure time and that show has similar elements so I guess it all depends on someone’s interpretation
Cool! I will definitely look into producing a video. I’ve been really impressed with the work they’ve been doing. I’m checking each day to see if they announce the next Hanna-Barbera title. Haha! I am very excited they just announced the second volume of Tex Avery shorts! Animation heaven!
Nice unboxing! I have this set as well and it’s great! I’m so thankful that Warner put a lot of love into making the episodes look so great as I assume that it cost them a lot of money with there being 166 episodes. My only real complaint is that I wish that The Man Called Flintstone was in HD. I don’t really care that the WWE film is only in SD but the 1966 theatrical film being in SD only is very unfortunate. I hope that maybe Warner Archive can put out an HD Blu-ray of it at some point. Also are you aware that Warner is offering a replacement program for the first disc due to the audio error on the 17th episode? I’ve registered for it and I would assume that you would want to know about this is you weren’t already!
Thanks for the comment, Ryan! I agree with you. And yes, I have put in for my replacement disc. Thanks for posting that information for other viewers to see. :)
The Flintstones & WWE: Stoneage Smackdown definitely is, as it was just produced in 2015. As far as Man Called Flintstone, there is a definite uptick in quality from the preciously DVD release. But I don’t know for sure if it was remastered.
And M.A.S.K., He-Man, Jayce and the Wheeled Warriors, Dungeons and Dragons, Visionaries, Denver the last Dinosaur, Alvin and the Chipmunks........the list could go on and on 😂
I would subscribe to your channel if you'd talk about picture quality. I confess I don't understand why people do unboxing videos without discussing the most important aspect of all; the actual image quality of the products. Oh well.
Say cartoon fortress. I have a question why does warner brothers release almost every cartoon from their library on the archive yet they disregard Cartoon Network originals on dvd The only shows we got completed on dvd minus the adult swim stuff are ppg (1998) Star Wars the clone wars (through fox) courage the cowardly dog adventure time over the garden wall (although it’s a mini series so I guess it’s not too far fetched) and Steven universe And I believe Ben 10 has its multiple shows completed on dvd Yet shows like dexters lab Johnny bravo cow and chicken I am weasel Ed edd and eddy sheep in the big city time squad billy and Mandy evil con carne robot jones kids next door fosters camp lazlo my gym partners a monkey squirrel boy class of 3000 Sunday pants chowder flapjack regular show gumball robotomy secret mountain fort awesome sym bionic titan uncle grandpa Clarence we bare bears ok ko mighty magiswords never got completed or released even on dvd I mean I’ve been waiting for dexters lab Ed edd and eddy billy and Mandy kids next door chowder flapjack and regular show getting complete series sets for a while now
I completely hear you, James! Personally, I have been most excited for a Dexter’s Lab release, but we’ve only ever seen a season 1 release. Hopefully it comes.
Barney Rubble was my favorite character from this animated series - a nice review!

Great unboxing my friend, it's good to see this unboxed before I decide to buy it myself, haha!
Thanks Nathan! It’s a well boxed set, and definitely worth it in my opinion. :)
I would love to see you do a WA animation spotlight video. That’s such a great idea.

I wish they would do thundercats complete series on blu.
I’m right with you! I hope we see that sooner rather than later. And in fact, if they do Thundercats they may as well do Silverhawks as well! :)

No digital?
Nope. Not with this release.
