I don't think Sword Saint is that hard to be honest, meanwhile I struggled a truck ton against Owl/Father in Hirata Estate.
No the sword saint is easier than alot of mini boss
Quân Mai idk about all that... because I’ve kicked the ass of every mini boss in Sekiro and they are a lot easier then isshin the sword saint plus his AI is smart in assessing how you fight compared to locked pattern AIs of mini bosses like ill go from strike to cancel and he will catch on to that shit changing up the combo to something else at the last minute he is truly a difficult fight

Guts /Gattsu Ishan is easy as hell compared to this guy. I can beat Saint Ishan first try using only 2 heals
You know that your daddy Tengu was actually just Isshin (the old guy who is now dead) in a mask right? Even though he owned the place he just loved beating up bad guys batman style.
He cut down a bunch of lone shadow shinobi like a boss

I had a very suspicious feeling that it was him tengu called me sekiro 1st before i met isshin and the way tengus white hair was tied up like a ball just like isshin and how they sounded a bit similar to each other but i was still not sure
Even though the Malcontent whistle makes it easier, it actually makes a lot of sense, because of the lore.
The ring belonged to a friend of the sculptor when he was a shinobi. They lived together until she died, eaten by the ape you get the first whistle from.

I tried for 2 hours, to kill that fire monster, and it was pretty hard, but now I'm stuck on the final boss for 3 days :)! this game is amazing ;-;
Dang, I was stuck on Sword Saint Isshin for 45 minutes. (With TH-cam help though)
just be agressive on isshin. master all his attacks and deflect. you dont need to be perfect. its better strategy and more satisfying win that cheesing imo. i just beat him 20+ tries. while studying all his attacks and combos

i killed genichiro and got isshin's first hp bar without getting hit a single time to just get destroyed by his spear form.. i'm crying...

Harsh Dutta lol at that point in the game he’s not a hard boss to fight lol in fact I didn’t even know this till later but you could even puppeteer the other guy in the fight to fight the seven spears with you making it that much easier lol just goes to show how things are hard at first but then fight them again they’re no match 🤣🤣🤣
@@Cool_Clark Puppeteer the other guy for health-bar one and then you can puppeteer a guy lying on the floor for the second health-bar, the guy lying down even uses a rifle making it suuper easy to just switch aggro without him dying lol

@@Cool_Clark or u can use bloodmist ninjutsu while killing the other guy and run away and come back to get a ez deathblow on the spear guy to simply cut the fight in half.

It is. Sculptor says Isshin cut his arm off to save him from being consumed by the flames. Also, when you talk to the shopkeeper after sculptor left, he says something about the sculptor and flames. Sculptor also spoils his own weakness when he says the whistle calms him down, aka. his weakness in phase 3. Then he thanks the Wolf when you kill him. Also, if certain conditions are met when you land the final killing blow, Wolf says goodboy sculptor. Also, normally the grandma says that You knew the demon, didn't you? Sekiro answers that he doesnt, and the granny replies that maybe it's better that way.
He 100% is the sculptor. Also, the granny calls it the one armed demon. Who else is one armed? The sculptor.
The Tengu's Mask can be found behind the place Isshin would sit.
And the Tengu was never around at the same time as Isshin.
So, that's your answer to where he is.
Another big hint is he's the only one in the game who actually calls you Sekiro because he came up with the name. The rest calls you Miko no Shinobi or Okami. Also the esoteric texts he gives you.
it's clearly revealed when you speak with isshin, for the first time he finish his phrase by calling you sekiro, wich is the name you had been given by tengu, it's meant to be obvious xD
@@Soundaholic92 yeah another hint is that in my recent playthrough kuro sent me to talk to isshin but he wasnt there. When i talked to emma she told me to go to the watch tower where you fight gyobu. But only the tengu was standing there. When i talked to him isshin was triggered to sit at his normal spot

My favorite boss fight in Sekiro, it took me more than an hour to figure out all his moves, his jumps, and taking him down after that, it was soooooooo good. Nice video dude, thx :)

I don’t wanna spoil anything for you but I figured you said your doing a NG+ run so your going for another ending and if you want the true ending you have the things in hand to do it so I figured I’d leave you a guide that was spoiler free so hope it helps!
SEKIRO TRUE(BEST) ENDING GUIDE NG+ SPOILER FREE:
STEPS TO TAKE BEFORE FIGHTING OWL:
-infested scroll (either from monk in main hall before genichiro fight or in water at the temple after the fight)
-give this to divine child at inner scantum
-continue to get rice until scenario comes up
-you will need permissions (can be obtained from the memorial mob where you get the five colored rice) to give to divine child for this scenario you should then receive a key item.
-bring this item to Kuro in his room and run his dialogue until you receive an item from him you will be prompt to use it so just do it in front of him and proceed to talk with him (you can receive this item from kuro in the future like the rice from the divine child so don’t worry to much about wasting one)
-speak once again to the divine child to inform her about the item you gave to kuro she should have dialogue. After this rest at an idol she should be gone from the inner sanctum (THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT) if she is not travel away and come back and she should have disappeared.
-from here go to the hall of illusions you will find her there and you will want to speak with her here is where you start the quest line for the true ending or the secret ending
-find her once again at the temple and you will be asked to find a text from a high priest (this text can be found by going left of the main hall idol into the caves where the voldos are at travel deep into the cave and you will find the item you need on a corpse)
-bring this text to the divine child and she will then ask for 2 fruits of a serpent I will tell you that much as you know how to get the fruits and won’t have a hard time figuring that out.
-dried serpent liver
-fresh serpent liver
-Once these are received she will ask you to leave as this will take awhile from here anytime you return the doors should be closed (THIS IS WHAT YOU WANT)
Once these steps are completed continue the game as normal
AFTER DEFEATING OWL:
-return back to the inner sanctum the doors should be open (if not proceed further into the game until you find the doors are opened)
-talk with the divine child she’ll have completed what was needed to get the Return ending and you will receive the item necessary to get this ending
Once you have this item you will have access to either give kuro the dragon tears as they are or to give the tears and this item. The true ending to the game requires you give both to kuro and not just the dragon tears once this is done you will have gotten the best ending I really hope this helps you in the future and I hope I did my best to make sure not to spoil anything about the ending.
I've done all these steps in my first playthrough, but after I defeated the divine dragon and searched for kuro, I have to fight this really tough boss, if I defeat them, I still have the opportunity of getting the true ending?
Allium_GD i can’t say without spoiling so I’ll tell you this much as long as you have a key item from the divine child and they say to use it with the dragon tears then if you beat the final boss you will have the option to give kuro the tears and the key item this won’t be affected by anything you do as once you have this item you will have the option for that ending no matter what you fight or kill so go nuts if you’d like however if your referring to the boss I think you are and got another key item from them then your ending is gonna be different if you give the tears and that you want the key item for the child and all will work out well for the Return ending
I think you need to use the teeth when there's no black line on your red resurrection orb. So from what i learned, when you get killed by an enemy you have this black line on your red orb that won't allow you to resurrect a second time unless you killed enough enemy or rest at the idol -or cooldown?- but if you get killed by using the tooth there will be no black line so you can resurect as much as you want. well, until you ran out of red resurrection orb. Do correct me if I'm wrong

Most people struggle with the bosses on easy mode, yet here's Myth, breezing past them in Hard mode like nothing much really changed
It isn't hard mode technically the bell just makes enemies do more damage but even without the bell demon hatred can 2 shot u without ungo sugar and prob most bosses and the bell gives u better loot drops and nothing about this game is easy but I beat the game and I'm 13 so what can I say

@@swampfox_ks by technicality, the bell demon acts as a proxy to hard mode, since enemies hit harder than they should normally and makes your posture easily more breakable, giving you a smaller window to deflect attacks, but in return it's more rewarding since you get higher spoils from beating your enemy, making it a high risk high reward situation

Tips for the flaming boss: suzaku's umbrella (its one of the last umbrella upgrades) blocks all his attacks except for the perilous one while charging up for an extra damage attack that often flinches the boss if you have projected force unlocked. All that for just one spirit emblem so you can use it 8 times and still get the 3 full uses out of the whistle. during the first and second phases , all of his ranged attacks except the infinite range ground fire and the repeated fireball bodies can be completely avoided by simply running in a straight line towards him as fast as possible (as in run as soon as he creates space with his perilous attack or by jumping away).
For me Suzaku's Lotus Umbrella helped me through this fight. Like when he jumps up high into the air and slams on the ground with a huge fire explosion. Hold the umbrella up long enough as the explosion goes away and then whack him several times with your sword. Helped me a lot lol
This is Laurence the first vicar on steroids, he got so buff, he jumped to another world
For anyone having issues with Demon of Hatred, Suzaku's umbrella basically trivializes a lot of his abilities. Get in close, when he does the fire punch attack, open the umbrella, hold until he finishes his combo, and then R1 into Projected Force. You can also pop the umbrella and sit under him when he does the big jump attack, won't take any damage at all.

Yeah. I learned to remove L1 + R1 combos as well I think even prior to Demon Hatred fight. You always get bent over royally trying to swap back & forth from Parry into Attack only to get caught up in some multi-animation frames leaving you bare naked to be pummeled repeatedly.
These daily uploads are amazing, thanks for the entertainment.

Genichiro looking to The Sword Saint to finish his battles reminds me of a Kylo Ren + Vader relationship
My theory is that is the sculptor you can kind of tell from his beard and clothes on his back + he leaves around that time in the story due to apparently him seeing nothing but fire and leaving for the battlefield im guessing this is what they meant by the fire, and this is also why he was basically saying he can never die and he sees nothing but fire and the lady at the end says if you dont know who the one arm demon was before its better that way because its basically the dude who gave you your arm it used to be his. so when he dies thats why he thanks wolf his suffering is finally over

Mythymoo there is a secret wall in Ashina Castle. It's hidden behind a banner similar to the one by Lady Butterfly. The wall is near the guy who was staring off into the sunset behind some armor.

You can just sprint straight when he is away from you and do those fireball throw. Took me few tries when I noticed that. Never get hit by that fireball ever again.
How much more damage do enemies do with the Demon Bell? I just fought him in Normal mode and the damage doesn't look all that different
You might have missed out on doing Hirata Estate 2.0. If you do a new game plus playthrough that should be an area you hit up for sure (or maybe an OVA of just that). Getting to it involves a somewhat long chain of dialogue actions you can initiate with Kuro and Emma after beating the Owl. Great series by the way, I look forward to each new episode.

Not sure if you already figured out why but the reason the Hidden Tooth didn't work is because you had the black slash through your resurrects because you had already died. It only works if you use it before anything else kills you.
i did the same thing with the tooth but on the 3rd phase with little heath. i think it only works if resurrection is not already disabled
Turns out if you give the Sculptor all the sake in the game Sekiro actually has dialogue about the demon of hatred which opens up another option for when the lady asks you if you knew who it was.
imagine fighting this guy without the whistle, that was my life...
Yeah, when I first fought this boss, I knew if was gonna want lotus shield, and when I went back to the old man to get it upgraded, and saw he was gone… I immediately knew what had happened to him based off of what he had been saying throughout the game. He stopped sculpting and gave back into the flames.
For anyone having trouble - use Suzaku's Lotus Umbrella it will block half of his attacks - jump attack, fireballs etc

Bite down/hidden tooth are the same thing and they only work when you have resurrect available (no black strikethrough)
There is actually hidden/stronger owl boss battle if you follow one of the endings.
Almost same level hard as the Oni and Isshin.
Tips for killing doh
1. Equipe the loaded umbrella magent "unti fire"
2. Equipe the malcontent whisle, for stunes in phase 3
3. Just hug his legs and attack him twice and then do a circular motion around him
4. Whenever he jumps away, just run straight at him and turn right in the middle of his attack and repeat step 3
It can be intimidating at first bec he is literally an elden ring boss shoved into sekiro where parrying is everything
But i defeated him without clicking the parry button once
Myth, MAKE SURE that your resurrection power is unlocked, if you see the black ink swipe over your pink res circles then you will die upon death instead of resurrecting.
Don't worry, you will fight Genichiro again soon enough
Also Demon of Hatred is way easier with the whistle, I fight him the first time without it and the third phase took me a while ;/ it was fun though, once you understand his move it is easy to kill him without taking any damage and that feels gewd
Though the same could be said for most bosses in this game, Isshin, Demon of Hatred, Headless ape and owl is my fav so far
I had no idea about the whistle in that fight holy crap. I’ve killed this guy 4 times now and never knew this. Also yes. That was the sculptor. Clues are Demon of Hatred and how the sculptor talk about seeing flames all time and in skill description for living force skill.
Tengu guy is Isshin Ashina u kno, the grandpa. Thats why he calls you Sekiro.

Looks like we both missed the second bell chime that leads to alternate Harata estates. There's supposed to be three bosses there, two of which gives us the last prayer beads
How many tries did it take you to beat Demon? I spend 2-3 hours on him he is by far one of the hardest bosses outside of the last boss imo

Rip Orangutan. He was a good man. For some reason when I fought the Demon, Sekiro would mention the Sculptor literally seconds into the fight. It's weird how no one I've watched has actually gotten the tiny bit of dialogue, does this have something to do with giving the Sculptor every type of sake before the end of the game or something? I'm honestly clueless. He got some good story time though.

If you’re gonna do NG+ and show us do it on the real hard mode (not that the demon bell isn’t impressive) but at the start of the NG+ give Kuro back his charm :)
The trauma of the fight is ridiculous lol.
by the way: Afaik there is no difference between 'bite down' and 'hidden tooth'.
The reason you died for good was because you didn't have anymore active resurrections to begin with.
What bite down/hidden tooth does is it kills you and let's you revive without your NEXT resurrection getting denied
(usually you get up and your resurrection symbols are striked through, the latter does NOT happen with bite down/hidden tooth).

The Demon of Hatred is a callback to Laurence the First Vicar from Bloodborne. The world of Bloodborne faces a plague not unlike lycanthropy with the hunters and high ranking clergy being prone to the worst of it if they succumbed.
Laurence... yeah, considering you find him in the Hunter's Nightmare where the worst sins and atrocities of the Byrgenwerth scholars were buried, you're not going to find something cheerful. Also like Laurence the demon is a beast succumbed to bloodlust.
You encountered him a few times. It was Woo Guy.
Under isshens room is a red eyed mini boss ( use fire ) aside from that, good luck with the final boss, I'm stuck on em

Tengu is Isshin so he's already dead. This is hinted to you by the fact that Tengu names you Sekiro and Isshin is the only other person to refer you by that name.
Also love your videos and got my sub. If you WANT to do a NG+ and make it fun for your viewers once you beat the game start a brand new game (not ng+) and you will gain an item called Kuro's Charm, give this item to Kuro on the prologue and this will set the game to an even harder mode than the bell demon AND you can later stack that with the bell demon for max rage. I would LOVE to see a NG run at max difficulty, would be epic. 😁
Honestly, I think demon of hatred is the hardest boss in the game, worse than sword saint or anything else. Man that second phase fire line thingy... If I didn't have the phoenix umbrella I'd die way more times
