8:25 that is IK foot placement this basically does is then the player is standing in a slope , aim IK to the ankle so that it's aligned to the ground. many AAA companies use this in there video game to make the body placement of player more realistic.
To elaborate on your comment, IK stands for "inverse kinematics" and what it does is essentially reverse the priority of bone placement. So with regular kinematics the foot bone would follow the rotation of the shin bone, which would follow the thigh bone etc. but with IK however many bones you set will follow the end bone ok the IK chain
17:49 - Not quite. If you read the text immediately before this part of the instruction manual, you'll see Sonic wasn't transformed by Dark Gaia's energy. It was actually exposure to the negative energy of the Chaos Emeralds that transformed him. Because it has mastery over all forms of dark energy, Dark Gaia was able to steal this negative energy from Sonic to accelerate its own maturation into Perfect Dark Gaia.
Sonic 06 with the hedgehog engine would look so stunning. It sucks we will never know what 06 would look like in Sonic Team's image if fully completed to what they wanted it to be.

11:08 Hello from the guy who first discovered that renderer in the PC verison of Sonic Generations, and made it available for the Generations Unleashed Project mod. Well yes and no actually, because werehog in a human case would be someone turning into a hog or a hedgehog, in sonic's case because he's already a hedgehog, he's technically a hedgehog turning into....well a hedgehog, oddly enough an even more unrealistic one lol.

I vote for the werhog to become the Hedgewolf.
Three four words "copy God of war"
more like inspired by or parody of, keep in mind sonic is parody of mickey mouse, dragon ball, star wars and of course mario.
Awesome game.
