Well researched only one exception Pakistan did not play well and not affected by rain. They played their all 4 games won 2 lose 2. So rain is not a factor for them.

Lol 32 participated in knockouts and only 8 came. Japan, argentina, Italy, Zambia, Kenya, fiji etc countries also played qualifiers

All this makes this the most entraining edition. You just never know whose gona upset whom on a given day. I am from India and on most day i am watching the early morning games even though India is not playing just for the unpredictability. I have not been disappointed yet. Just the SA-Nepal match was worth the sleep for 2-3 weeks :)

Excellent video. As an Indian fan I like the point you mentioned about 15 member squad sizes. If ICC allowed 17 member squad, I think India will benefit the most from it.
In every world cup India has pretty good starting 11 but when they face problems like injury or unexpected circumstances /variety of pitch conditions during the tournament. India fail in problem solving because of lack of quality multidimensional players.
They shouldn't change rules just to benefit indians

Any team that is not hiring an analyst like you has already lost the plot.
Why don't you take all of your research and data and analysis to try and predict the winner. And then we can wait and see how close you got. Dont worry about damage to credibility if you get it wrong. Make it a scientific exercise and take the leap!

The US win over Pakistan got my son and I (Americans with no cricket experience) intrigued so we drove 18 hours to Florida for US-Ireland. Despite a 5 hours window of glorious sun between rain, there seemed to be zero interest in actually playing cricket. Three hours after the scheduled start it started raining again and the match was cancelled. To an American who is used to baseball games restarting minutes after the rain stops, this was frustrating. If that is how cricket values its fans (and curious Americans) screw it. There are plenty of sports to follow that play when the sun shines.
The problem is not that cricket doesn’t values it fans . The problem is in crickets nature . It is played on pitch . The pitch is impossible to play on and becomes inconsistent even in slight rain . In baseball you just toss the ball in air

For me this is what made this T20WC simply great. The variety of Pitches, Batsmen not always having it easy as many T20 fans want Cricket to be has been overall great Cricket to watch. I definitely won't call them "nonsense", I just see them as challenges that really are needed for a global tournament of this scale. Any team that wins this tournament overcoming all these challenges truly deserves to be the World Champion.

The early day matches were only to cater for Indian audiences and all of the Asia (PAK, SL, BAN, AFG) associated.

Aus matches on 23rd and 24th, right next to one another, recovery will be hard. If they lose against Afg, could put HEAVY pressure on them on 24th against India
You haven't mentioned the hectic schedule of Australia. They are playing a match against Afg on 23rd and soon after that against INDIA on 24th, on different pitches, not even 24hrs between them.
Complicating basics. This was a toyally fun tournament with bowlers testing the actual skills of batters. No flat track bullies and your highly overrated ipl money.
