This is the first stop of our 2024 summer trip.
The little one is so eager to get new lifers, and has been working hard to search all the birding hotspots on our route.
We took direct flight to Denver, and stayed in Fort Morgan, CO the night before.
It's 30min drive from the city, and the park charged $10 for entrance.
It's very quiet in the weekday morning.
There are not many trees along the lake, so it's quite exposed and hot.
We walked around the campground for 1 hour, and spent another 20min or so in the small visitor center.
