- How to travel the world on $30 a day, solo. I quit my job, sold my car, gave everything away so I could travel the world. This series is about traveling the world on your own with tips, tricks and travel hacks plus funny stories that hopefully will teach you a thing or two as well.
I traveled for 12 months on $12,000 on my own - through 17 countries, 4 continents with only one backpack and a camera bag.
This video is about how to travel in India and what to do in India, specifically in northern India and McLeod Ganj and how to plan and volunteer with Tibetan refugees in India.

What's your favorite meal you've had or have learned to make while traveling? Have you made it up to northern India yet? Adding McLeod Ganj to your list?
I haven't made yet to India, but i will for sure!
The beast meal? Well, i was in vietnam and i tried bun bo and fell in love with that: still now, in italy, i wake up in the middle of the night screaming "I want bun bo!" lol
Haha! You're in Italy wishing for anything other than Italian food??? Now that is surprising! The Vietnamese dish sounds amazing tho and yes, India should def be on your list :)
After you are done with all of these travel videos on the places you have been. Is there any way you could do a haul of what you got and from where. I know you went to a few night markets for sure and even though you were on a tight budget I'm sure you purchased a few things. I think it would be really interesting and fun to see the things you did! just a suggestion/idea (: loving your vlogs, I just got done with all of them (I may or may not have binged watched them all 😋) great job! 👏🏼

My goodness. I would love to visit India, but I have heard/saw how men treat women. My husband does not want to go there due that reason. Even my cousin doesn't like the idea.

Hey Jen, thanks for the question and for the tweet! As a solo female traveler, I did feel safe in India. I found Indian people to be absolutely amazing and the country is so beautiful! You do need to be very confident and use common sense but I found India to be very safe. The most you'll probably deal with is getting ripped off or having to haggle prices for everything. I can definitely make a video for safety in India. I'm a bit behind on my videos at the moment but as soon as I have time to film a new one, I will! Thanks so much for watching and happy travels!

I did and I had so much fun! There are a ton of Israelis traveling around India and I usually found myself hopping around with them, I made a lot of new, Israeli friends :)
