Wow! That place is huge! Excellent video, Bob! I'm returning to the States next week (finally staying home for a while) and I'm so excited to visit as many parks as possible this spring/summer! Thanks for sharing your vlog with us!
The funny thing is, this event only uses about half the building. On the other side of the building (which isn't accessible without going to the doors on the outside, clear on the other side of the building) was a quilting expo. They have it every year at the same time as the amusement park
No Amusements of America, huh? Makes sense after the debacle at the fair last year. Glad to see Triple Treat and Poor Jack. Wish Poor Jack brought their Wipeout :(
I love rides there so much fun ,but the zipper and the drozone are the best i also like the pharaohs fury and the fire ball but the pharaohs fury should be upgraded and go faster and higher
Went there yesterday, but started feeling sick and couldn't do the rest of the rides. I did Music Express first, then Zumur, then Wildcat, then Hurricane, and after Hurricane was when I didn't feel well. I still ended up doing some more rides, like going on Twister, Tip Top (3 times), and Zumur and Wildcat again. I witnessed somebody get sick too. I think she had just ridden either Orbiter or Twister. Was an ok day other than that
Queen.Angelina Queen it doesn't normally affect me, I think it did this time because my friend for whatever reason sat next to me and I was wearing my jacket, and I spent the whole ride holding on to the side to I wouldn't slide into him. Doing that made me burn up, especially in that jacket. I don't handle heat well
Hey +CoasterBob62, I’m headed over here tomorrow and as a small vlogger myself I was just wondering, do they care so much if you have your camera out on the rides? Of course, I do have a camera that I vlog with but as for actual on ride footage (if allowed) would be filmed with my iPhone, but should I ask for permission first or is it a big deal?
They seem to frown on cell phones more than the type of camera I use, a GoPro -- I attach a handle to it to make it very easy to hold safely. That being said, I've still been denied. I always ask, especially since I have a relationship with the I-X. Many folks do it regardless. The ride op will let you know if it's not allowed. Have fun, man!
Before boarding, I always ask the ride op if I can use my camera, and most of the time I'm allowed to use it. The fact that I usually use a GoPro with a handle helps my case.
It's only open for a few weeks in March and April. It's now closed for the 2018 season, but a ticket cost $24 at the box office, $21 online. Parking $10.
Sorry, but I didn't get to Kings Island for opening day, so no video. The forecast called for a lot of rain, and it wouldn't make for a great video. Hated to break tradition --- if they had a new coaster, I would have made the trip.
CoasterBob62 when do you plan on going to Kings Island though for your first Kings Island 2018 video? I think you should've gone to passholder preview night. It was pretty packed and the weather was nice.
Preview night is a nice alternative, but it's usually too crowded and there's not enough daylight for me to do what I'd like to do. I may not visit until mid-May for CoasterStock.
You should definitely check out the old Dinos area. There are some interesting stuff over there. First, there seems to be a wooden fence blocking the old entrance and surrounding it. The area is currently a smoking area, but imo the smoking area is temporary. There also if you go up on the Eiffel Tower, you can see a little bit of construction starting in the old Dinos area where one of the dinosaurs used to be that you could see that was in the open. If you don't quite understand what I'm saying and/or you want evidence, check out this link. coaster-nation.com/clearingatdinosaurs/
Amusements of America isn't there this year, probably after the fireball incident at the state fair. Triple Treat (which does Ross County Fair and Madison County Fair) and Poor Jack (Allen County Fair) has replaced them this year
steve mclaughlin Poor Jack, Triple Treat Shows, and the second Bates Brothers unit. Usually it's Bates and Amusements of America, with some rides from NAME sometimes
It is sad seeing a kid with balloons in an indoor amusement park. I mean your supposed to be having fun outdoors. This is just sad but cool sad that they made it entire park not just a place with rides but an entire. It makes me cry that they just put an amusement park under an umbrella. 😢 Hey and having them close together cuts the experience by half. Cause it won't be as thrilling as it is on its own. Like u see this ride in the middle of no where and you would want to go on it compared to having multiple choices. I don't see these business last that long. How about the maintenance to maintain them. How long does that take each morning? O well by
This is actually a special event that is put on at the convention center near the Cleveland Airport with rides brought in by various carnival companies. Because the event is held in March/April in Cleveland, I would imagine that the weather there is still pretty cold, so it makes sense to have it indoors.
I'm from England and I've been to my local fairs in my town and the problem u see with the u.s fairs are the rides look too outdated and unsafe and the food rediculacy Un healthy cuz in england we don't do deep fried stuff and crazy Ideas due to people getting full of feeling ill from the food that causes people to puke the food we only have is hot dogs burgers cotton candy ice cream sweets or shall I say candy popcorn fries other British food that are not crazy as yours I wonder why people on spinning rides in your country puke easy Sorry if this offends u I'm no food critic BTW I don't go on spinning rides anyways due to my puke phobia

Too bad black people had to have a riot and ruin it for everyone.
One of my favorites is the Oribiter ride
This would look so much better with low street lighting & keeping the ceiling area dark.
I love going on the Ride called the Fire Ball.

Hi, Kelly! Hope you get to stop by Ohio during your visit -- the season is about to start! :D
The funny thing is, this event only uses about half the building. On the other side of the building (which isn't accessible without going to the doors on the outside, clear on the other side of the building) was a quilting expo. They have it every year at the same time as the amusement park

Wow, they sure upgraded bigtime!
The god is back!
I love rides there so much fun ,but the zipper and the drozone are the best i also like the pharaohs fury and the fire ball but the pharaohs fury should be upgraded and go faster and higher
The swings at 14:56 remind me of the gallow swing from rct3 except without the skulls and stuff XD
It said Levi at 11:44!!!😂😂😂 . I guess you can say it was a SHORT ride.
No log flume this time😕

bro I fell the same way the hurricane makes you sick

no fights that day? lol
Never seen anything like this in my life.
I like the Poor Jack carousel!

I went there today my fav was lost mine
2:09 what evil person trademarks "can you ride this ride?" Excited about your first step into 2018. edit: second* sorry!
I did a double-take when I saw that sign -- pretty funny!
How did you get permission to film on rides? I'm going April 7th
Before boarding, I always ask the ride op if I can use my camera, and most of the time I'm allowed to use it. The fact that I usually use a GoPro with a handle helps my case.
CoasterBob62 okay thank you so much! This makes things easier and I can make good quality videos. It's my first time there and I'm excited to film
Ahh!! Cool!!! I'm going April 7th as well!! I'm going with my little sister who was begging me to go, maybe I'll see you!
Spunky Bruester maybe I'll see you! I will be definitely filming so be on the lookout
I'm going today too so I'll be on the lookout for you to say hi!
What ride is the music Express ride next to
im going on april 15th last day
Did you have fun tell me all about it
Question, how do they power the equipment? Do they still use generators inside?
I want to go here some time
My favorite ride is the zipper
Does it get crowded in there, if not then that’s a playground for those that are their?
I love Pharaoh's fury
Harley Sleger same
Did that kid just dab 10:31
Is this still going and how much is it
is this some thing that is always here all year around and if so what is the cost to get in
It's only open for a few weeks in March and April. It's now closed for the 2018 season, but a ticket cost $24 at the box office, $21 online. Parking $10.
I love your videos they are amazing. Are you still doing one for this year when it opens?
Yes, I plan on being there shortly after it opens this year. Thanks for watching!

Did you happen to go to Kings Island opening day/weekend? When is that video coming out?
Sorry, but I didn't get to Kings Island for opening day, so no video. The forecast called for a lot of rain, and it wouldn't make for a great video. Hated to break tradition --- if they had a new coaster, I would have made the trip.

Thanks for the info (and the evidence!) A construction fence usually means something major is happening. Hope there's more evidence next time I visit.
10:31 the kid dabbed
bit sad its look the same as when I was a kid early 2000's
did you make a 2019 video yet
Nope -- if all goes well I'll have something posted early next week.
Where is the ride Freak Out? Probably was the best ride there but I don’t see it this year.
or himalaya??
Amusements of America isn't there this year, probably after the fireball incident at the state fair. Triple Treat (which does Ross County Fair and Madison County Fair) and Poor Jack (Allen County Fair) has replaced them this year
Forgot to mention (but you already know by now) AoA owns the Freak Out

It’s garbage that the freak out ain’t there anymore

steve mclaughlin Poor Jack, Triple Treat Shows, and the second Bates Brothers unit. Usually it's Bates and Amusements of America, with some rides from NAME sometimes

Cleavelend Ohio
How expensive?
For 2018, it was $24 at the box office, $21 online. Parking $10.
Im going friday im scared because the rides look scary
I'm going the 14th
Funny and fun
Meh, I still think The Adventuredome is better. **MY OPINION**
