If I take join Beval then shape builder does not work.

Thank you for your comment! I'm glad the explanation was helpful. It's possible that the anchor points of the shapes in your design are not overlapping, causing the Shape Builder tool to not work as expected. You could try adjusting the anchor points to make sure they overlap

3:21 minutes in video,i first select shape bulider tool and thenchanged stroke to fill.so by default Black color is used.

@@nikitaagarwal4145 when you hold alt key with shape bulider tool then it delete the shape otherwise it use to merge the shape.when you merge the shape it denotes the Plus symbol and when you hold alt key it denotes minus symbol on the shape bulider tool.
