I’m sure there must be others like me and my wife who are curious about your part of the world we have been in Alaska a few times, but have not experienced anything like you do. There’s a lot of videos catching fish of different kinds, but your introduction to this video explaining a few things and even a map of where you are made your video. Awesome thank you very much.
Like the explanation on quota alotment, very informitive.informative. I miss cutting halibut steaks in the meat market in AK. years ago. Thanks for keeping it simple.❤😊
I miss those segments when you had mom & little brother along for the action. Any chance you'll have segments where they are on board as well? Nice set guys.
Thank you for once again sharing the best fishing experience on TH-cam. At least in my opinion 😊🇳🇴 And most of all I am grateful for your kind and supportive words before I went in for my last spinal surgery and you deserve to know how the surgery went. In short: It didn’t. But your videos are great medicine! I never get tired of catching the first glimpse of color rising from the depths, until a clear shape can be distinguished. The suspense never goes away! 😊 Not being able to go fishing and having to sell my boat is really painful, but again: You guys are making the transition easier for me. I’m already looking forwards to the next video 👍
Editing is incredible. How about a clock mounted so that we can further appreciate the time involved working one set. Just a thought. Love your fishing vids. Stay safe.
Hi guys, as I'm watching, I look at the bottom of the fish, and I think I'm seeing sand on them is this true. Thanks for sharing, and God bless you both.
Could you guys do a video about your ‘safety at sea’. I don’t know if that’s the correct terms, but things like what medical kit you have, man over board, god forbid a sinking, life raft etc. I’ve only sailed for fun in the North Sea, between England and the Nordics and we had to be well aware of what to do if it all went south. I think it would be an interesting video.
Thanks for another great upload. Do you record the information when you get good or bad sets? Like time of soak ,tides , baits information, temperature of water ... 😊
Hye guys - Flamenco dancing Halibut now that could be a new entertainment? Around about 24:17 some reverse osmosis putting the catch back in, and Len why do you keep hiding the hooks from Matt by the steering system?
I assume in the mix are smaller ling cod? Are they in season, and what are the size requirements? That one halibut took one look at you and said " Not here no way!" 😲 Nice size cod in the mix and like you titled it, decent set! 👍
Maan those skulpen's mouths are HUGE!! I was watching another halibut fisherman and I think it may have been across the pond but he was sayin that they use dogfish for bait cuz they don't eat their own so you don't catch them but other speies seem to like them just fine. You guys ever tried some dogfish on the hooks? I didn't realize your season ran that long. Is that for all species or there's slots for different species in that timeframe that all in that time? I'm anxious to see how you guys use the new redesigned hold. Looks like you're really just filling up with alot of ice and tossing them all in the center hold?
totally love every video put out .but i sure wonder what you paint any of your steel tools and equipment with to prevent rust or do you just not use steel products ?
Still love your Chanel but a lot of viewer needs new glasses cos the new video angle not good, I'm not watching half the boat and chefs Matt in a distance, so sorry my friends, it's like 10:4310:45
sure do enjoy your program bings bak memories when i was stationed at kodiak naval air base back in the late 50s
Love to hear it, ron! I bet Kodiak was a bit different back then!

Like the video ya did good stay safe and healthy
Beautiful day, nice catch and love the music. Great video!
I love it when it takes both of you to land a Hali.
Nice haul guys! Like all the different camera options you have too.
Beautiful day of fishing :)
I really like how you showed the cleanup. It showed up really well on video :)
I know it isn't what you usually do, but a catch and cook on anchor one evening would be cool...
Loved your salmon canning episodes.
Hey team EIS you guys are awesome ! Keep it up and stay safe! We love keeping in touch.😊

Top work as always Gents! Wishing we had your cool weather here in Queensland Australia (it's just one big sauna here really)

Another very relaxing video. Glad you caught some nice Hali’s. I also hope you guys had a great thanksgiving. Keep ‘em coming.
Thanks, Phil, you too! Have a great day.
Appreciate the ID on 'giant sculpin;' I thought they were Lings.
I love the view you have from the office. I bet it never gets old.
What a beautiful boat, love you guys, as I always say, Commercial fisherman help us live better. Thanks for feeding us.
Good to see you on the fish.
Made my day seeing a new upload wish you would upload every day or so
Thanks for taking us along!
Enjoying watching you guys from Ireland 🇮🇪
Oh from almost running out of bait we started using the belly meat from squalpins it works and we were able to stay out lounger lol
Great stuff! Thanks guys!!
Hey Guys pretty decent set, the explanation of the different of unwanted catch was great, thanks.💪👍.
I would like to see how you ice them down. Like how you manage the different partitions in the hold with the fish
Another great video, thank you!
Good tunes along with some nice fish, thanks for sharing 👍
I thought it was funny watching you put the starfish back in the water - lol.
Love the zoom 👍
Great editing Matt 👌
You're out there without fear
Old bait put in a bucket attracts fewer birds. Then throw it away all at once, when you’re done.

Nice set. Thanks for the explanations.
Nice fishing guys. Greetings from Misery Bay
Good
Fishermen are blessed.
Hi guys, as I'm watching, I look at the bottom of the fish, and I think I'm seeing sand on them is this true. Thanks for sharing, and God bless you both.
Looks like monk fish or angler fish as we call them in the UK that you're throwing back the tails are worth good money over here
Good fishing good times
Always a good day when they're coming on!
Hey if you need an extra anchor I’m in lol at least I’d get to go fishing with you ❤❤❤❤❤

Nice run
Seagull: Look at me, I'm cute, feed me!
great view while you work. Can you explain the sand fleas and how they affect the halibut catch?
Thanks for another great upload. Do you record the information when you get good or bad sets? Like time of soak ,tides , baits information, temperature of water ... 😊

Can you show us how to tie the knot you use to secure the bouts and anchors to the line?
Im late here but I made it lol slept in
What is a Sand flea? What do they do to fishing? I didn't know fish got fleas. Lol.
Ive wondered why you dont use a chum bag or add scent to your chopped bait.
Are you going to be doing any rockfish fishing in future videos?
We certainly will!
Are you satisfied with the setup of the boat? Has there been any issues with the mechanical systems that have been fixed after a couple trips?
Maan those skulpen's mouths are HUGE!! Great videos and information! What is your guys quota?
totally love every video put out .but i sure wonder what you paint any of your steel tools and equipment with to prevent rust or do you just not use steel products ?
@@trapperbruce Very little steel on our vessel outside. Aluminum and stainless steel for the most part.
When you lease quota, is it a percentage of catch or flat rate?
Change your name to the Star fish Queen😂
No way haha! 😆 We can’t be encouraging them!
Can you bring home a by catch for dinner, or do you have to buy that catch from someone who catches that product, God bless and have a wonderful day
Are Sculpin eatable?
Why don't you keep the monkfish, they are a delicacy.
Put them bull heads in a crab pot
bonsoir , pourquoi plus de sous-titres ?
Still love your Chanel but a lot of viewer needs new glasses cos the new video angle not good, I'm not watching half the boat and chefs Matt in a distance, so sorry my friends, it's like 10:43 10:45
czemu nie dajecie mozliwosci ogladania z napisami
