Seeing the tools and cars in that garage.... is that actually his personal garage?.... what a cool comeback since Hotrod and HorsepowerTV. The simple shooting and much better showing of work and assembly in this show.... even the humility to say on camera after other people had issues with similar components Holley took that back to the drawing board on some applications. What a cool show. Nice to see he had a nice collection and could enjoy making a DIY show that was much more his direction in so.e ways. The not over killing on ads and sponsors was a really nice change from what these type shows on TV now have to do. The sound of old style ratchets and still using air tools brings me back to the early days in my career too.
This is the best damn installation video I've ever seen. So thorough. If this was on TV it would be a 2 hour show. Its a shame you only do Holley family products because vids like this on other products would be pure gold.
Excellent video chuck....nobody can explain it like u can... I relly like the terminator ..pretty straight forward install. ... sounds like the car responded good. ..
It's also a good idea to get the heat shrink tubing that's glue lined to actually seal the connection. I've had the cheap stuff fail me and the wires got corroded anyway.
I think by not opting to go with the timing module and letting the Holley ECM handle it you miss out on some MPG and performance, the system is made to do both to get the most out of it, but that just my opinion, and you know how most people treat opinions.
Negative cable should be first off and last on Total day one stuff. This EFI system looks pretty great. I really dig the annular discharge rings for the injectors. So much better than having a super soaker at each corner, though more, smaller holes would be an improvement in my opinion.
Why is everyone complaining about the cost you got to pay to play if you can't afford it keep the carb this system is flawed but it's the easiest way to get fuel injection in an old car personally for 2k I'd rather do a ls swap
agreed for 2600 that they want for the fuel system and the efi system you could get an iron block ls and a stand alone harness and most likely have it installed, but this system does have a place i suppose, it looks less modern so thats a plus for some
Yes it's better...but...is it 2 grand better? I guess it's something that's subjective, I can see it making sense, but 2 grand for anything isn't cheap. I'm wondering, what does it do to your MPGs? I know on a hotrod or something MPGs take a back set to fun, but a few more mpgs could mean getting the car out more often for more fun, so I suppose if the increase is big enough, it could actually make sense. I'd really like to see a follow up video to this one, how's it affected the mileage, has it made more power?
FAST ez efi throttle body wont let my hood all the way down on my Corvette Stingray. This looks much slimmer. California car is great. Used both steel lines and feed and return. Pump mounted under the tank and above the spare; still a bit noisy for my taste. Still the FI is learning and running great!
Outstanding video! Well laid out and spelled out. I have a quick question for you. I'm looking to install this system on a 1973-1979 Chevy truck that has dual tanks that you can choose what one you draw from. How would you hook that up? Thanks and I hope to hear from you!
Before he installed the throttle body onto the intake manifold, he only tightened the studs into the intake manifold by hand? That does not seem secure?
Hi - Just bought this kit the other week, I noticed on your regulator you didnt use the other side of it for OUTPUT to the throttle body, and just used the INPUT side and RETURN...did you connect the fuel output to Throttle body out of camera shot? The instructions show that the REG is installed after the throttle body, ive always run them before to regulate the fuel that is delivered to the carby/throttle body. Please confirm if im reading it wrong.
Theodore Uy If the carb system isn't perfectly tuned, it will make less power than the EFI system that can always get close to the perfect air fuel ratio for any rpm and load. The EFI will let the engine make the most power possible with the parts already installed on the engine.
yeah it can, simply put it works like a well tuned carb almost all the time. In my own opinion, which isnt a popular one, adding another carburetor is easier than installing EFI and makes more power. just saying thats been my experience, i immagine its different between applications
Good morning Chuck !! Hi I'm working on a 1973 Chevy Nova 350 small block ! I was wondering if you had any old carb that your not using no more or laying around I don't have much cash. If please let me know I love all your vids you the person that made me get my self the nova.
i have a 94 k1500 with a 5.7 350 in it, in all honesty that engine was really built badly and has hardly any torque/horsepower. im thinking about getting a tbi to carb converter intake manifold and getting this 4bbl tbi. should i get new heads and a bigger cam and lifters and the whole 9 yards before i do this? will my crapy stock heads be able to handle it?
yeah but don't you still have the disadvantage of the carb where the fuel is injected at the start of the runners rather than close to the combustion chamber? Fuel will get stuck on the runners due to the curves making it drop out of suspension and be colder and not atomise as well, what you really want is a direct port fuel injection kit that would be better
Chuck you've gotta really nice place out there,I really Dig your shop and car collection it's too bad they don't have you on TV anymore. Maybe a new show will come along ?Check out the Velocity channel !
Chuck so why are you running a frame mounted fuel pump if your going to be useing a tanks in tank mounted fuel pump,I know your trying to show several different types of fuel pump options so why not show the best one instead of duel mounting pump, configurations, confuses some guys and yes the tanks one is a couple hundred bucks more and a little more work but by far the way to go.just asking.
Chuck, you should check out Amiri King's youtube channel and I know you are a Chevy guy.Amiri King has a few Chevy parody videos making fun of the Fords
Scott Striker, you won't accomplish half as much as this man, by the time your his age. Fuck you and how you feel about the way he looks. If your so perfect, why aren't you on TV asshole?
Says the guy with no pictures of himself in the youtube profile, let alone any content on your channel. Just because you hate your life doesnt mean you should insult others like a bitch.
Why do you guys try and make it look so easy I know you are getting paid. It is not near as easy as you make it out to be. There are always things that you need that you do not mensonge. You are really telling lies when you say it comes with everything need.
Good to see you back in action Chuck, I miss horsepower tv!
CrustyHO - Facts!!!. I wish Saturday's cable car shows for 5 hours.

Chuckster, great to see you doing what you do best, teaching us how to go fast, keep up the great work!
I missed Chuck on horsepower tv. Good to see him again.👍
Great to see Chuck on video again...hopefully on TV soon.
I'm a fan from back when Chuck was on HorsePower TV. Glad to see "Mr. Chevelle" back in action!
Holley Terminator EFI......bringing you the best technology that 1987 has to offer!!!!!
Good to see you using the old speed wrench! You make that installation look so easy.
This is the best damn installation video I've ever seen. So thorough. If this was on TV it would be a 2 hour show. Its a shame you only do Holley family products because vids like this on other products would be pure gold.
This makes me miss TNN/Spike Tv's powerblock.
man i watched alot of other videos on this today. Yours is the best, well made clear and informative. thank you.
Excellent video chuck....nobody can explain it like u can... I relly like the terminator ..pretty straight forward install. ... sounds like the car responded good. ..
Well I just wish I was there lended you a hand, with hands on teaching you learn so much more, great job and hope to see you soon. Ernie
I did not know Chuck was back but I’m sure glad even though I’m 4 years late to the party!
It's also a good idea to get the heat shrink tubing that's glue lined to actually seal the connection. I've had the cheap stuff fail me and the wires got corroded anyway.
Great install video, very complete! Thanks, Chuck! I just purchased the Holley Terminator, and will be installing it ASAP.
Thank for the information Chuck - I am thinking about installing this on the 66 Chevelle Big Block
OUTSTANDING. Thanks Chuck and Eric -- great job with an excellent Holley upgrade. // Really enjoyed the video. So good to see you here Mr. Hanson! :-)
I think by not opting to go with the timing module and letting the Holley ECM handle it you miss out on some MPG and performance, the system is made to do both to get the most out of it, but that just my opinion, and you know how most people treat opinions.
I was thinking the same thing. 90's chevy truck, Ditch the TBI, bolt up some Brodix heads and use an Edelbrock Dual plane, and then this setup.
Negative cable should be first off and last on Total day one stuff.
This EFI system looks pretty great. I really dig the annular discharge rings for the injectors. So much better than having a super soaker at each corner, though more, smaller holes would be an improvement in my opinion.
Nice show made me interested in my garage
Starts at 2000.00 bucks and hits you up on separating the fuel pump and lines 699.00,399.00 ect.
Excellent video. Wish I had the budget to put this setup on my 77 Formula Firebird. 400 4 Speed

esteblack What flaw are you talking about? BTW, you need to learn to use periods and question marks when you write.
You need to learn how to use commas.
Great installation! Informative instructions!! To the point I might just order the Sniper!!

eric is a quiet man
Love the show
Nice video, but you ALWAYS disconnect the negative cable first.
so funny hes talking about driving conditions. every car guy driving conditions would wide open throttle. 😆🏎
FAST ez efi throttle body wont let my hood all the way down on my Corvette Stingray. This looks much slimmer. California car is great. Used both steel lines and feed and return. Thank you for this video, I have a 65 Mustang with a 302, would you recommend me buying this kit. I don't know if I could do the installation.
If you can afford EFI you should be able to afford a new square bore intake?
Is there an in tank fuel pump and sending unit that will work in a 1971 C10 Truck for the EFI set up?
We do not currently have a unit in production for your truck but we are definitely working on one!! Stay tuned, Thx J
Outstanding video! Well laid out and spelled out.

Thanks and I hope to hear from you!
The manual shows the feed line is in the back. In the video you show the feed line in the front. Which one would be correct?
this was a great video I enjoyed it

Yeah. We've bumped into each other on what, 5 videos already. We're shrinking the internet!
is there a part 2 ?
Chuck, can you change a rons flying toilet to a achocol carburteor?
Does it sit lower than a 7150 carb?
Can EFI system add bhp to an old car?

just dance 2016 angry birds
does this work with a dual carb setup? and what's the max hp rating?
yeah but don't you still have the disadvantage of the carb where the fuel is injected at the start of the runners rather than close to the combustion chamber? i have a 1989 rs 305 camaro with a obd1 and i need to know if it is ok to replace the old ecm with this
uh66
kfy
Could this be put on a 90's GMC/Chevy truck and take the place of the stock tbi?
What about the PVC valve??
No seat belt, shoulder strap, or harness? :(
Nice vid Chuck. Is that the same Chevelle you've had for so many years?
so where is all the AC stuff?
Hi Chuck, are you the same chuck that was in the 48th aviation com. in Ansbach? Do you remember Ron Aaberg?
Approx $2,000 USD from SummitRacing
So, can this easily be adapted to work on an LS engine?
Guns Cars and Digits sure, but why
Shemp?
What's the cost??
Hey, I thought you were a Ford guy! (just giving you a hard time) Still doing lots of burnouts?
wish holley gave me a kit to show off for them
@9:33 WHERE IS ERIC?!!?!?!!!?!?!?!!!?
If you don't do that kind of tings, could you put me intouch with somebody that does that kind of work? Thanks.
h
Chuck you've gotta really nice place out there,I really Dig your shop and car collection it's too bad they don't have you on TV anymore. Maybe a new show will come along ?Check out the Velocity channel !
Wait wait, at the beginning u said SIMPLE setup

Vote for Pedro
Someone really needs to make a water tight system, this unit would fail off road.
funny they use sealed plugins but the computer isn't water tight .
Chuck, you should check out Amiri King's youtube channel and I know you are a Chevy guy.Amiri King has a few Chevy parody videos making fun of the Fords
Is that a toupee ??? Hilarious !!!

It's not a carburetor, it just looks like it is...

What a pain in the *SS. (LOL no pun intended) No thanks.
