God sets before man no appointed time, that he should appear before Him in judgment. ~Job 34:23

How is it that you interpret Job 34:23 to mean that there is no appointed time to die? Neither one of my Bible versions (King James and The Living Bible) says anything about there being no appointed time to die in this verse. Judgment Day is very different from the day we die. I don't understand your interpretation. Help me.

In the book of Job God told the devil he can make job sick but he told the Devil that he could not Kill him So God is always in control The devil can not do anything without Gods permission

This passage had me thinking too. But in the end, we see throughout the Bible that death is a result from sin and that the devil is 'ruler' (to a certain degree) of the earth.
Job was a special situation, an exception so to speak, and not to be extracted as standard for all of us. Him not dying was purpose to show his faith even in the worst of circumstances. It shows us how God is ultimately sovereign over the devil and they are not to comparably forces against each other. Luckily! :)

Job had no covenant as we do yet he was surrounded by a hedge of protection the devil challenged God about the hedge the devil is a thief he doesn’t need permission

I don’t think God give permission to devil do stuff. God gave permission to us people make a choice. Job said “the thing I feared the most has come upon me”. Through fear Job opened door to devil, Job allowed enemy come to his life. Bible full of “don’t be afraid” “fear not”....”don’t give place to the devil”

What about God's will - If it's better for your loved one to be with Him, than suffer on earth, and God's will wants you with Him in heaven then how can we have power over God's will.

So what you're saying is that God's will changes depending on circumstances? How can you trust in Him then? How can you trust His eternal Word if (as you just wrote) he changes all the time? Seems more like an idol (which you created in the image of yourself) than unchanging, one, true God revealed to us by and in Jesus Christ...

So when scripture says it has been appointed for man to die ( once ) and then comes the judgment... who is the one appointing this.
And you have taken out of context what or means to honor thy father and mother which leads to long life. Clearly there have been many whom have died who have honored there father and mother, and those who never have whom have gone on to live a long time. So how is this your barometer for understanding that verse?????????

It is appointed because of the fall. Because of the fall, it's now nature that man will die once, and then comes the judgement. That doesn't say the exact time is appointed but the event will happen.

For the second question, Ecclesiastes gives the answer. Life happens. But that doesn't mean God's promises aren't true.

Heb 9:27 - And inasmuch as it is appointed for a MAN to die ONCE and after this comes judgment, 28 - so CHRIST also, having been offered ONCE to bear the sins of many, will appear a second time for salvation without reference to sin, to those who eagerly await Him.
The confusion here lies in a bad translation. That should say MAN, not men. (As it does over 500 times elsewhere.) And as many other verses plainly show, the one man that died once and brought all judgment upon him, was Jesus.
So that verse isn’t even speaking about us but Jesus. Applying it to us raises immediate biblical contradictions. All the people raised from the dead for example, like Lazarus, died again. So they didn’t die once.
Scripture clearly says that Jesus died once for all and judgement fell upon him. So HE is the man this verse is speaking of. He died ONCE and never will again.
