So basically, Kim, if in his prime when he wasn’t hunted by the Thumb and like a hundred other killers from S corp, should have the strength of a high-end grade one fixer, because he was said to be one of the strongest swordsman in S corp. He was once the bodyguard of S corp’s second state councillor, an old politician that set his goal to cleanse S corp from corruption. He once got some critical evidences of the other corrupted politicians, primarily the first state councillor, and tries to overthrow him, but at the end, Kim failed his duty, and the councillor were killed by assassins that’s sent by the first councillor. So the angry Kim killed first councillor’s whole family, and friends and even bodyguards, but realized that his killing won’t end but make another more corrupted politician, so he left the second councillor alive, and left S corp with his only fellows and subordinates, the Blade Lineage. As a consequence of killing the councillor people, they were chased by S corps finest men. And these stories were not mentioned in LoR, in LoR they are just a bunch of stray swordsmen, but in Limbus tho, they seemed to reused background stories that was prepared when BL was still to be made a main story reception instead of general.
And as the trailer shows, the blade lineage base is set in S corp, as the perpetually dark backdrop of the blade lineage ids and where the League of Nine members come from, said to be affected by civil unrest.
Ngl the idea of tank that not relay on "much hp and much def" and instead a "survive lethal dmg" to stay alive that turn when redirect a strong enemy attack and in the same time Do a Lot of DMG back is feel fun ngl xD

Like it isn't totally impossible that our Boat fixer Ishe and Sinclair could have been there for the events of the warp train and the Reception of the Molar office, and considering the Walpurgis IDs are direct links, we know Hook Lu eventually gets booked and hell, he might have even fought against Outis, Don, or Faust who would have been turned into assistant librarians if they share a timeline

Yea, but thr Blade Lineage is looking for a place to settle or home. Hence why we got them in the library of ruina. But in the development it place as a normal reception instead of a story one. But with 5.5 or in my case 4.5 ( in my case) it covers why they where there in the library, to find a place to call home, but they didn't expect it to be a fight to the death to gain thete books. After the events of Ruina there all got scatter in Kurakuma turf, hence why Some of them are in places they shouldn't be. We also know anoter name Blade member which is based of the concept art of Ruina reception but never fully realized.
Kim and some of his followers got teleported from library into office controlled by Kurokumo, they fought, but wounds of his disciples reminded him of a scene from his past, Monolith "catalyzed" the process, and he distorted, slashing everyone in that room
salsus are normal members, cutthroats are those second in charge of bl ( voted by salsu, mentioned in bl yi sang story) and mentor is the leader of the group
