I watched the video with a certain smile because I am in similar circumstances. My whole family lives all over Europe and it's a great feeling when we gather together in the summer. I am glad that everyone lives happily in a family with children, in fair conditions. But at the same time, it's sad when they go home again and I'm left alone (unfortunately, my partner died a few years ago), but I can't wait for the next time together. I totally agree with you, family is the most important.
Children grow up, leave home to take their own path, don't be sad, at least you get to see them whenever you can. That is a blessing. Tova, beautiful garden, love it.

As someone who grew up far away from family, I am so grateful to have my mom and 2 of my 3 daughters (& 4 grandkids) nearby; the third is only 3 hrs away and her in-laws live near us, too, so they aren‘t conflicted when they come with their 2 little girls! ❤ Just came in from an afternoon on the lake with our vintage wooden yacht, life is good in nature 😍🌳🌊

The big screw goes into the cabin frame, the longer, smaller screw goes through the door frame into the big screw. Here in the US we just use a smaller long screw and drive it through the frame into the cabin wood.

thanks for another lovely video. Let me tell you, that I am a German in Ireland. My 3 children live in 3 different countries. My sisters live in Germany as well as all my cousins. There is no solution for these things other than accepting fact and visiting, video calls and enjoying the fact that everyone lives what they feel is the best solution for them. I am so sorry to hear your car broke down and it's so expensive! Cars seem to often cost a lot of money in terms of maintenance. There was, so far, no summer here in Ireland and I live in the hope for maybe some sunshine hours over the next weeks but other than that we just hope next year will be better.

We moved all the way across Canada to be near our daughters, and now one is moving away again. We're happy for her little family, but sad for us. Living in Germany as a person with Turkish roots but no cultural or religious tendencies on any side I feel really isolated and lonely. It is hard making friends or even find a partner or a tribe... You are very lucky.
I feel you Mathias. I live in Australia and am from France. I get to see my family every 2/3 years if I’m lucky. It’s a heaviness I carry with me everyday and it never gets easier. Unfortunately it means not being present for many family events sad or happy (deaths, weddings etc) and my children missing out on having extended family. Keep busy and carry on until next time.

I know about the dilemma where to live. I’m from Hungary originally, I moved first to Ontario, Canada in 1988, I divorced in 2003 went back to Hungary, after a month staying there I decided to come back to Canada. Since then I live in British Columbia, Canada and for sure I’ll stay here.

13:30 bird dumps....i love it! I love how the birds spread what i like but there are things they "dump" that i don't like because of the location! Lol, it's more work for me to mow my property. I wish i had a garden like yours. Well done!
I suggest wood joints over screws for everything! Maybe you could use wooden dowels for the window frames as wood is able to flex in the extreme temperatures you experience. Another option would be making a mortise and tenon or tongue and groove like you showed at 23:00

Your garden is so beautiful! The the climbing pea flowers are called Sweet Peas in the US. I used to enjoy growing them but alas, I'm now so allergic to them that I can't any more. 😥
