It’s not the car there disliking it’s the presentation or the lack of .
The 4.4 ltr V8 came out in 2011 F10 and is still the M5,6 engine even with the new F90 they keep the same engine but tuned it.

KEVIN MANSFIELD I no that, but I'm referring to the m3 and m4. Even a v6. I am surprised they actually put a v8 into it. The m3f80 sounds terrible.
The last M5 also had a V8. They only use the inline 6 engines in the 4 series and below

sOony57 you act like the engine is not the main component of the car. that V10 is regarded as one of the best V10s ever so it's not a stretch to call it the best M5.

sOony57 V8 surely is fast. You are forgetting what //M cars are though, they are meant to be extreme cars with presence. That V8 is great but doesn't have the soul of a //M car (probably due to regulations and the turbos). At that price point I don't see how it's a better choice than the E63s

Who cares about gestures and buttons all over the place when the only thing you need is a good driving car. I know, i know, it's a luxury power machine, agree; i test drove it last sunday, together with an X5M and more, and i must say, it drove fantastic. Very safe feeling, but, not as attractive in sport plus as for example an alfa Quadrifoglio, that's another level regarding driving experience. My humble opinion.

This car is a beauty...
I wish we had higher speed limits here in the US. I'd possibly go to jail in this car. Max speed limit around area I live is 55mph and cops are absolutely brutal. Driving here isn't a pleasure like it is there, it's a chore. Anytime you go 5mph above limit you risk a cop giving you a $150+ ticket + 3 points on your license.

Totally love the 6:57 gesture. The Peugeot drives off the fast lane to make way for much faster M5 and the BMW driver makes use of his HW signal to express his thanks. I know this is noting new, but remains cool regardless! :-)

It's the most complete car for the money in the world, so yes, it's good for the price. In fact the best car in the world for the price right now. Nothing else has the same combination of luxury, comfort, performance, quality, space, etc. for the same price.
