I had the original R9 mercurials from 1998. I loved the look of those things. I like this new one too, but there's no way I can fit in a boot that tight these days and I am not a Neymar fan.

I like the new model I think your laces help make the boots pop. I love the written in the stars model, at least the way they look, I think they're the best boots of '17. But I like these but I think they should have done something different sole plate to add details. These show why Neymar has been wearing the damn fire version of the mercurial. I plain I on getting both before they come out with the WC Neymar boot comes out. I'll def get the sry laces with these.

These are going to be a double up for sure
The cleats look pretty good, but considering that it is supposed to pay tribute to a past Brazilian star player and is the signature of a new Brazilian player I feel like the colorway doesn't show enough of the team's actual colors. There's no green anywhere, not even on a word and the bolt yellow in my opinion is unsightly. The blue area is pretty well done on it's own, but i'm not sure that shade of blue even goes well with the bold metallic upper. Although, as far as design patterns - they did well incorporating both the pattern the original Ronaldo had worn and Neymar's debut pattern. I would say I still prefer the "written in the stars" version due to attention to detail (like tracing Neymar's goals) and also the way they blended all of the flag colors well. For example, even though they didn't explicitly incorporate the green, which cleverly, whether they meant for it to or not - you can still see green when looking at the translucent blue soleplate that leads through to the yellow bottom of the boot.
Idk why I don't really like the silver part and the color scheme in general but I don't hate it either.

Why don't Nike make all their top end soleplates anatomically fitted and in the one layer like they do with the Vapor 11? That would seriously upgrade the Phantom 2's, the Obra's and the Tiempo's
I think they try to offer variety from line to line. It's possible we'll see that at some point, but I'm not sure what their long term plan is with that tech. I also don't know whether or not it would work as well or feel comfortable if the base was wider. There really is no answer to that question.

I personally prefer to wear leather cleats when it's colder, simply because I find them to be a little warmer, and therefore more comfortable.

I prefer the smooth texturing of the Puro Fenomeno, but the difference overall is extremely minimal.

would the "SR4U Laces Grey" match the color of the tounge? I like the laces of my shoes to be the same as the tounge area.
It will be similar, but not a perfect match. Grey against chrome will never match perfectly. The Metallic Silver Reflective ones match really nicely though.

Hey josh sr4u !! As the laces are directly attached to the flywires and laces are supported only by flywires in nike lunarEpic ! Is it possible that the flywires will break during the period of time ??
I can guarantee that the flywire won't be break by changing the laces.

Josh in your opinion what is the best amount of room to have in the toe box and how tight should they be in the toe box?
That's a matter of personal preference and what feels comfortable for you. Personally, I like to leave no extra space at all, without my toes being crunched. You can leave just a little space if that's more comfortable for you, but there should never be a lot of space.
Does an indoor shoe fit different then an fg cleat? Like the superfly 5 compared to the superfly proximo?
They won't fit exactly the same.
