I literally cried for the whole hour. I truly hope this isn’t the end for Maggie and Gary they have been through so much to finally be together and have a family. This episode was truly beautiful though, Gary is the heart and soul of this show and without him it would’ve never made it this long. I am not mentally or emotionally prepared for the finale, I know I’ll need a box of tissues.
That's what I was thinking. It is a bold move on the writers to kill him since he's the only character that keeps me coming back for more episodes, but also is likely the only one dying that would make such a great episode. It's very much a double edge sword. I hope he doesn't die, but also think there's no way he couldn't.
The most heartbreaking thing for me this episode is the way Gary was still more concerned about how his friends are coping with seeing him so severely ill than he was about himself 😭😭. He’s already come to terms with what it is likely imminent 😭😭😭. And yet, still, somehow, he manages to crack perfectly timed jokes just so he can laugh to himself and put a smile on the faces of everyone around him. If the worst does happen, Maggie will be able to tell Javi that his dad’s personality and sense of self never wavered.

Had not even seen this yet! I knew it. If they kill Gary, I will never forgive ABC! One of the best tv characters! He was the best of the entire show. Please!!! Show on this fictional tv show how God performs miracles and He is above all doctors and scientists.
This 1 episode was really hard to watch, I’m sorry deeply saddened for the ending coming next week on Wednesday evening! U can bet tears 😭 will be falling!!! U don’t know how much you’ll be missed! Ugh 😑
I've seen alot of good TV characters die, from Jack from "This Is Us", Derek from "Grey's Anatomy", Glenn from "The Walking Dead", and so many more. And even though he hasn't passed away yet, what Gary Mendez is going through this episode? Ive never been so emotional 😢 😭
I think although this was by far the saddest season… it was amazing. I can’t remember the last time I cried this hard for a tv show. I loved it! Sad to see it’s over. 😞🫶🏻

As a shipper for them since season 1. I'm overjoyed perfect heartfelt. But i'm heartbroken we're losing gary.
