The Great Gatsby there is an equal number of -dze and -shvili, both mean “child” or “son”. There is no correlation between surnames and sports, there are as many shvilis and dzes in rugby as there are in judo, I can guarantee that. There is also significant number of -ia surnames originating from western Georgia. The only thing that comes to mind about the difference between dze and shvili is that virtually all Georgian Jews have surnames ending in -shvili.

Nice highlights like always, just a thought, it would be more helpful to add the name of each Technique

Can you create titles with category, stage, names and countries? That would be really nice and helpful.

It's possible in theory, but in practice it would take a lot of time and it's already tons of work, so at least for now I can't do that, sorry.

Heavyweights usually don't do that much ne waza, so this time only couple submissions made the video.

I feel like the guy in blue at 4:16 should get that point even though he was taken down, ippon is controlling your opponent. Did you see how that tumble ended?

Judoka in white got ippon and contest was over.

@@GrapplerKingdom I watched some judo grand final the other day and after the take down they man held his opponent down for 25 secs. If the match was going by high level rules it seem that the guy it white 'wouldn't have been able to keep him down for a full ippon'.
So if it's not international you don't have to hold them for the full point? I think I'm getting it :p

If you throw your opponent ''cleanly'' on his back you don't have to pin him as it is considered instant victory. But if the throw wasn't ''clean'' you can continue with ground techniques. The reason why a lot of times judokas roll over is to get opponents full back on the mat, this rolling over a lot of times sway referees to give ippon. But if you don't get ippon you can expose your back.

@@GrapplerKingdom Ahhh I gotach now. It looked kind of sloooow and then really, really fast. Slow to fall and then the flurry of movement from the guy who got ippon was to sway the ref to give him the point (pushed himself to top position)...
It's just that the guy in blue felt what was happening to him and "came out on top" by rolling his opponent from top to bottom in a total of one second. But it was too late for him to have any effect on that situation. I feel like I will never agree but 100% but I get the 'judo rule' around it thank you!!

Realistically these types of throws shouldn't be considered ippons (real ippon has to have: speed of execution, oponent's full contact with back and control after the throw), but in this day and age referees tend to give away scores more easily. Anyway, you're welcome!
