So when a therapist goes to another therapist do they just sit and psychoanalyze each other the entire time 😂
Funny. On a more serious note, I think it illustrates that if a therapist (Kati) - who presumably has it fairly together - is seeing a therapist then everyone should have a few sessions per year. I think everyone could benefit from this but particularly children. Often we I think most people won't see a therapist until there is clearly a problem. I can't help but think if these problems/issues were picked up early they could be better and more sucessfully treated. I really think the health system is fairly broken with a view to mental health. Saddens me. :(
It's so so nice to see you expressing your opinions and likes/ dislikes about certain things. I normally love your videos because they are so so helpful but for some reason it's just nice to see you acting 'normal' and it's nice to be able to relate to you on an equal person to person level rather than me feeling like your my psychologist haha. Great idea for doing this tag you should do more like it! It makes me feel that even though I have bad depression everyone is very alike in certain ways!

I was playing on a womens soccer team in my mid 40’s and seriously miss it!

I have the greatest therapist ever and am so thankful I found him!
He is talking me through a horrific past! I have C-PTSD (yes my psychiatrist at Stanford actually used this exact diagnosis), as well as GAD! I’m using DBT and other modalities to help me through my traumatic past.

How cute!! Now I want to crochet you a soft blanket!! But to be fair it would probably end up being a really long scarf or maybe those bedrunner things they have at fancy hotels. I have a bone tumor problem (not a big deal - no cancer so far) and I had a big one when I was younger on my shoulder blade so they did surgery and removed a lot of my scapula and clavicle along with cutting muscles and tendons so my right arm tires easily. I look normal tho and can use my arm. I was looking like the hunchback of Noterdame before the surgery.

Katie, I like to bake too. It is like therapy for me. I have a great Zucinni bread recipe and the whole neighborhood gets a loaf during z-season. Talk about spreading the wealth!
Apple computers are the best. I'm so happy you didn't have cancer! I love crime shows too bc I'm so amazed at how they solve the crime. My sister, and one son are left handed as well. Your videos are awesome and has helped me tremendously! It's like receiving free therapy from a loving friend. My aunt and uncle lived in Santa Monica for years before they died. My husband was born in Andali, Italy before he came to the USA at 9 yrs old, but he died in 2011. I love PJs around the house too! I thought I was the only one. I'm 66 yrs old. So you're being only 30 ....you're still a baby at least compared to me. I wish I were 30 again! 💖💜💖💜🌺🌹🌺🌹

One of my favorite shows is/was Scrubs. The cast loved wearing scrubs all day every day for over 6 years on set. One of the most comfortable work uniforms - basically like PJs.

I've had about half a dozen lymph nodes removed 10 years ago (well 10 years on the 15th of August) and I was diagnosed with castleman's disease it's a rare disease and even more rare in children (I was 10 when I had my surgery).

Have you seen the BBC's Sherlock? I don't normally go for detective mysteries but I am chronically hooked on Sherlock. Like, I genuinely think my heart rate goes up from excitement when I think about the prospect of a new season this autumn...! x

Sun-in counts as coloring because it contains ammonia and peroxide which is what colorists use to lighten the shaft (color) of blonde hair ....the only reason I know that is bc I'm obsessed with the fact that I'm a natural blonde so I over research everything before I put it in my hair so I don't use anything that will bleach/color it haha. and that costa rica thing is awesome!

Love these kinds of videos :) My favorite show is SVU!! I have watched it since I was younger. Probably wasn't the best idea since it was really triggering. I have seen every episode several times!!! No one wants to mess with my family because then they will get 12 of us who got there back haha

I had a lymph node infection once and thought it was breast cancer too. Was terrifying but just took antibiotics we had laying around and it went away. Especially terrifying without insurance and feeling like I absolutely couldn't see a doctor and would basically be a death sentence. 😨

On your blanket comment I feel you there my daughter absolutely love soft blankets as a matter of fact each one of my kids had a particular type of blanket that's all different difersidy textures from each other and when my two older were little just the same as now with my little one we have to hide it if you want one of your own hide it out of her sight. I have to hide it in my room cuz if she see that she wants to claim it she's going as far as even taking your blanket from you when not looking and hiding it from you after she claimed it.

I'm a huge Fan of Womens Softball Leagues. I really enjoy the tournaments on ESPN in the summer. Picturing you doing the underhanded Lefty Fast pitch. HoLLaaaa! Respect for your Softball Skillz. I like baking cupcakes, and lots of them. Whenever I bake I end up baking like 30 cupcakes and them I'm like.. now what do I do with them? Baking is definitely my favourite way to deal with stress/being sad :) xox

I was a huge fan of yours, I'm a psychologist and thought your videos were always well-educated, objective and easy to understand.
Your understanding of each illness seemed to be great, but I'm really disappointed to see you throw around the word "addicted" when you should understand the despair addicts live through.
I'm not so critical of non-psychologists, but I know this would very much hurt addicts feelings and trust towards professionals.
I too have more lotion and beauty supplies that I will ever use in my lifetime. Especially since I don't use any. I have alerts set up for the new crime show episodes. But I have to admit I did teach my kittens to walk on a harness and come on command. But I think I messed them up cause they love tummy rubs and wag their tails and come running when I see them.
