- Here I explain what appendicitis feels like, and what it is like after laparoscopic appendix removal surgery. I discuss how all of this went down, the confusion of what was really going on, the meds given, my hospital stay and dismissal, and then how I am feeling and managing POST-OP with sleep, and being comfortable. I discuss how soon I can go back to work and my general restrictions. It's amazing what the modern technology can do. I worry that people will not know they have appendicitis. It's very deceiving and I've talked to many others who have a similar story.

You are right it's wonderful just sharing in your lives. You and George are so fun and sweet and real. Feel better soon!
Thank you Sandy.
I had mine removed on my 13th birthday. I had no clue what was happening. I’m so glad you were able to have it removed and I’m praying you recovery quickly and with minimal pain.😊.
Thank you!
Glad to hear you are on the mend. Hope this is an answer for all your tummy troubles. George's soup looks so yummy!
Thank you. He fixes a great chicken soup. He’s the chef lol!
So glad you are recovering well!
Thank you. Feeling great!
Thank you for sharing your journey. I've always wondered what the symptoms were. I truly hope that this takes care of your tummy issues from now on. Hope and pray you continue to recover so that you can enjoy that baby!! Congratulations on that! :). That chicken soup looked deeeeelicious!!
I read where an inflamed appendix can hamper your digestive function. So far mine is much improved. Thanks for watching.
Thank you for sharing your story journey, it’s educational to me. I’ve been having some issues with my stomach on the right side. Get well soon my friend ❤🌷🌷
Thank you. Keep a watch out. It feels different than you think. I had a friend whose appendix hid behind her intestines. They had to go fishing for it, lol- not really funny but eye opening for sure. That was an odd occurrence. But it seems to fool us with the pain sometimes.
@@lesshustlemorecoffee thank you for telling me about your friend as well
I would be getting me another doctor.
Yeah I’ve definitely lost some trust but I did have some tummy issues to reoccur. Since that video. So not sure all of it was appendicitis. But if I have any more issues I’ll go to specialists. So far I’ve been able to heal gut issues on my own, thanks to TH-cam of all things, follow various doc advice on gut healing practices. Thx for stopping by!
Hey. Did you notice any digestive symptoms leading up to the appendicitis?
Yes! They misdiagnosed me! Everyone thought it was diverticulitis or IBS. Swollen inflamed appendix leaned into digestive track I think causing diverticulitis like behavior. That’s my guess as to what was happening.
@@lesshustlemorecoffee Oh no. so you were experiencing appendix pain for quite some time? Im assuming you were having other symptoms as well for them to say it was IBS?
@BO2trickshoting Yes for about a year I’ve had to be picky about what to eat so nothing would cause inflammation. I pretty much had to eat bland foods, soft foods, and had developed a pretty rigid system of eating and supplements thinking I was avoiding colon surgery. Very mentally taxing as well and discouraging. So imagine my joy at being able to eat again whatever I wanted!
