I'd recommend Psycho Pass. It's basically a psychological anime set in the fictional world of japan in the 22nd century. The government can basically determine if you got the mind of the criminal before committing any actions. It's got a really dope concept
demon slayer might be a lil slow for u in the beginning but by the end of the first season its nothing but heat. Jujutsu Kaisen might be better for you if u can get past how gross the cursed enemies look, its a lot more active
Todo Will literally be your worst enemy or best friend just based on what type of people you find attractive. That's his motto or purpose in fighting I guess lmfao.
Todo really did ask what type of women he liked and beat the shit out of him for having bad taste. He asked the main character(the guy with the light pink hair with the tattoos on his body) the same question but it turned out the main character and the muscle dude like the same type of women so he instantly befriended him lol.
Y'all should recommend Dee anime that are no more than 25 episodes. She definitely enjoys more thriller, psychological stuff maybe some action in there. But the weird shit is just a big NO (who tf recommended Food Wars?)
What a lot of people don't seem to understand is your favorite show can't be recommended to everybody. You have to be realistic about what you recommend. Which is so weird cause Death Note is the one thing everyone usually recommends for first timers and then they just start throwing out different anime left and right. Anime so wildly different from Death Note. Dee's been pretty straight forward in the past about what genres she finds interesting, at least in terms of movies. Give her more psychological, thriller anime. Of course you'll have no idea if she will like it regardless if it's closer to what she'd enjoy or not, like with Parasyte. But it's better to try those for right now than the things being recommended so far. Keep the scope narrow for now. If she loves those and wants something different, then broaden the horizon a bit. I'd recommend *91 Days.* It's a old school, mafia style anime about revenge that came out 2016. 12 Episodes total I believe. It left an impression on me when I first saw it, though it's been a while so I can't say for sure if it would be up your alley Dee but it's worth a shot. There's also *Psycho Pass* which I haven't seen but heard great things about. And maybe *Another* which is a horror, mystery anime in a school setting with 12 episodes total as well. I watched Another back in high school and loved it, but I don't know if you'll be entertained by it long enough because when shit doesn't hit the fan, it's a very quiet show and personally, the characters aren't that interesting, if memory serves. But the deaths should be entertaining nonetheless. Again, worth a shot.
That's because they just recommend good anime in general, they don't tend to stick to a genre or type. Your favorite anime is always a valid recommendation, but if they end up not liking it then well, it's just not for them, can't really get upset at that. An Indication that someone likes Death Note isn't really a no to another anime like Food Wars because lot's of people like many anime that have don't have things too in common. Though it should be an indicator that they would like things similar to Death Note. She might like Stien's Gate, Future Diary, Death Parade, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, or Psycho-Pass. FMAB is actually the most liked one once the pace picks up, it does reward the viewer with one of the darkest and philosophically heavy stories in modern anime.
@@Themfeels101 She dropped FMAB to my understanding. But back to the point, as I said, Dee has made it pretty clear what her preferred genres are. Dee is trying to get into anime and everybody and they mom is trying to make her enjoy anime, so I would naturally try to entice her with anime that cater to her tastes *first* before expanding her horizon. Of course, recommend whatever you want, by any means, There's no rule saying you can't, obviously. But if you told me you had a preference for horror, I wouldn't immediately throw you to the wolves with a random suggestion like Food Wars just because it's my favorite (it's not). If you told me you hate romance, I wouldn't recommend Clannad or Kaguya-Sama off rip just because they're my favorites (they are). Chances are that would be a waste of everybody's time. I would naturally point you to some horror anime first. Gauge your interest. If by that point you wanted to expand your horizon, *then* I got some different flavors for you. The point I'm making is to gradually ease her into these things, like with anything else. Obviously she may fuck around and enjoy any of these far fetched recommendations. Anything's possible, but it hasn't happened yet. Firing off blindly hoping that something sticks ain't working so far. So maybe it's time for a change in approach. Or not. Obviously it ain't my call. Just a suggestion.
One thing about dragon Ball z sayains is that they will always let their opponent gain power because they live to fight on edge it makes them stronger it helps them overcome any limitations they have.
You may like yasuke. It's a black samurai anime on Netflix. It's all gas no brakes from the beginning and touches on historical and cultural issues that occured in Japan regarding black people. The animation style is pretty cool too
Dee you need to watch an anime that fits your genre taste. Animes have a multitude of genres so you just need one that is similar to what you like watching.
you should definitely watch erased its about the mc (forgot his name) where he lives a normal live but when he was in elementary there was a killer and he killed a few people off. ( forgot to say the mc has the ability to time travel when something is about to go wrong so he can figure out the problem and fix it but it's and automatic ability and he can't control it) so when he goes home with his mother after shopping ... (can't say cause spoilers cause it's very shocking but that situation causes havoc causing him to be sent all the way back in time to where the killer killed his classmate and some other kids so what happens in the future doesn't happened
Dee you will love an anime that I will recommend that's called MONSTER it's a psychological thriller series almost similar to DEATH NOTE. Another is called CODE GEASS
If you like Death Note you should watch the Promised Neverland…(One piece,Naruto,Bleach,Yuyu hakusho & DBZ are the ones I recommend to someone who is just getting into anime though)
Dee, I think you would like Baccano! a series with 16 episodes. Unfortunately I don't know where to watch it. It's been many years since I last saw it, but I recommend it. It's set in the 1930s, introduces the mafia, alchemy and immortality, and interconnected life stories. Wild stuff happens
it also depends on what kind of anime you like to watch and try to google your preference and see what pops up I liked kakegurui and Psycho Pass but that isn't for everyone

Honestly you'd probably really enjoy "The Promised Neverland". I can't really say what it's about because it'd be a spoiler, but it's more psychological mixed in with thriller.
Since you like Death Note you might be interested in Stien's Gate, Future Diary, Death Parade, Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, or Psycho-Pass. They are similar in theme in that they are psychological and philosophical. Code Geass might even appeal.
Start with "Chainsaw Man". It's one of the Top 5 animes out right now. It's a dark, edgy show with action & deep storytelling. I recommend "jumping into the show, without knowing too much of what its about", to make it fun for you. They just dropped episode 5. They're airing it weekly.
Vegeta always does that when someone is stronger than him he usually flies up into the sky charging like the strongest attack and threaten them to just stand the ass right there. Also he takes The high ground because gravity I guess.
I’d recommend Hunter x Hunter, Naruto Shippuden (it’s more action heavy than Naruto), Bleach. Hunter x Hunter has a slow start up but Naruto Shippuden and Bleach puts you in action immediately.
You should check out Mushi-shi, Monster or Way of the Househusband. They're for older crowds, not super action packed or weird. Been into anime since I was a kid and got tired of watching highschool kids beat up aliens n shit lol.
Dee recommended anime : Attack on Titan Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood Promised Neverland Fire Force (not as intense as the others but lacks the goofiness you may not like) A silent voice ( if you like a silent voice then watch darling in the franxx ) Code Geass ( A little old) One Piece ( but I feel like its too childish for you, if you can see the hidden message behind it and if you like foreshadowing then its good) Jujutsu Kaisen (maybe) Demon Slayer ( maybe) I say maybe because Jujutsu Kaisen and Demon slayer just like One piece tend to be childish sometimes and I don't know how much you may like that. I hope she sees this 🤣😂🤣
Comdedy doesn't mean that it's childish. Jujutsu Kaisen is barely childish and that tiny bit comes from the first episode or the Jujutsu Strolls which she can skip due to their irrelevancy to the story. Demon Slayer is a bit more childish but I don't think it's so childish that it would turn her off. It'd probably be the slow start from the first few episodes in season 1. Also there's no way she's going to watch One Piece considering it's length, and recommending anyone Promised Neverland after season 2 is a sin. Out of this list Code Geass, Jujutsu Kaisen and Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood. As you said maybe Demon Slayer and I haven't seen a silent voice to confirm that.
I've seen so much animes that when someone ask for recommendations, I just don't know what to say lol But I'd say maybe promised neverland and classroom of the elite or even violet evergarden? Idk maybe you should try actual movies but most of them just made me cry a river so idkkk 😭😭
You might actually like Demon Slayer. It’s easy to keep up with and has some pretty good fight scenes. You might like Jujutsu Kaisen as well. They’re both really good.
