- Business Bay is a contemporary financial district packed with corporate high-rises, stylish apartments buildings, and luxurious hotels.
The Dubai mall is one of the largest shopping mall in the world. It is indeed the ultimate family entertainment destination. The Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, the Olympic-sized Dubai Ice Rink, the children’s ‘edutainment’ concept Kid-Zania and indoor cinema complex, the famous Dancing Fountain are some places one should not miss when you are in the mall. Next to it is the tallest tower in the world and it's one of the top attractions to visit in Dubai, Burj Khalifa.

It’s insane how the city was built with basically no consideration for walkability at all. Dubai needs to
Stop expanding outward and focus on making the areas that have been built more livable without car dependency. It’s horrible when ppl are siloed off in their individual buildings and they don’t go outside without a car

اسلام میں سال نو کا آغاز محرم الحرم سے ہوتا ہے ۔ محرم اسلامی تقویم کا پہلا مہینہ ہے جو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی
مکہ مکرمہ سے مدینہ منورہ کی طرف ہجرت سے شروع ہوتا ہے ۔
17 ہجری میں حضرت عمر فاروق رضی اللہ عنہ کے دور میں اس تقویم کا آغاز ہوا جب حضرت ابو موسی اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ یمن کے گورنر بنائے گئے ۔ ان کے پاس جو حکومتی فرامین اور ہدایات آتی تھیں ان پر کوئی تاریخ رقم نہیں ہوتی تھی جس سے یہ معلوم کرنا مشکل ہوتا تھا کہ کونسے فرامین پہلے کے اور کونسے بعد کے ہیں ؛ جس کی وجہ سے حکومتی کام کاج میں پریشانی ہوتی تھی ۔
حضرت ابو موسی اشعری رضی اللہ عنہ کے توجہ دلانے پر حضرت عمر فاروق رضی اللہ عنہ نے حضرات صحابہ کرام رضی اللہ عنہم کا اجتماع( Meeting) کیا اور ان کے سامنے یہ مسئلہ رکھا ۔ چنانچہ مشورہ سے یہ طئے پایا کہ اسلامی تقویم کا آغاز ہجرت کے واقعہ سے کیا جائے ۔ چنانچہ اسلامی سال کا آغاز واقعہ ہجرت سے کیا گیا اور محرم الحرام کو پہلا مہینہ قرار دیا گیا ۔
البتہ ہجرت کا واقعہ ربیع الاول میں پیش آیا تھا لیکن سال کا آغاز محرم الحرام سے کیا گیا
کیوں کہ یہ سال کا پہلا مہینہ زمانہ جاہلیت میں بھی تھا اس لیے اس عرب روایات کی رعایت کرتے ہوئے محرم الحرام کو پہلا مہینہ قرار دیا گیا ۔
حالانکہ اس وقت دنیا میں متعدد کیلینڈر رائج تھے جو مختلف علاقوں کی بڑی شخصیات بادشاہوں اور تاریخ کے بڑے واقعات کی طرف
منسوب ہیں ۔ اس دن اور تاریخ میں اپنی خوشیوں کا اظہار کرتے ہیں اور رقص و سرود
کی محفلیں آراستہ کرکے ناچ گانے اور فخر و مباہات کا اظہار کرتے ہیں ۔
لیکن یکم محرم الحرام کے دن مسلمان ایسا کچھ نہیں کرتے بلکہ محرم الحرام کی پہلی تاریخ واقعہ ہجرت کو یاد دلاتا ہے جس کے اندر دین کی حفاظت کے لیے وطن عزیز کو چھوڑ کر ہجرت کرنا ، مصائب و شدائد کو برداشت کرنا ، صبر و استقامت ، ثبات قدمی کے اسباق موجود ہیں ۔

اسلام میں سال نو کا آغاز محرم الحرم سے ہوتا ہے ۔ محرم اسلامی تقویم کا پہلا مہینہ ہے جو رسول اللہ صلی اللہ علیہ وسلم کی

یہ فیصلہ بالکل صحیح اور ہجرت کے بعد اسلام کے حق میں جو نتائج برآمد ہوئے ان کو دیکھتے بہت صحیح تھا ۔ ہجرت کے بعد ہی اسلام کو غلبہ و فتح نصیب ہوا ۔ در حقیقت ہجرت فیصلہ خداوندی اور اللہ کے یہاں پہلے سے مقرر تھا ۔ اس لیے واقعہ ہجرت سے اسلامی تقویم کا آغاز بھی فیصلہ خداوندی کے مطابق ہی ٹھہرا ۔

لیکن اسلامی سال نو کے موقع پر مسلمان ایسا کچھ نہیں کرتے بلکہ سال نو کی پہلی تاریخ واقعہ ہجرت کو یاد دلاتا ہے جس کے اندر دین کی حفاظت کے لیے وطن عزیز کو چھوڑ کر ہجرت کرنا ، مصائب و شدائد کو برداشت کرنا ، صبر و استقامت ، ثبات قدمی کے اسباق موجود ہیں ۔ اسلامی تقویم کا آغاز ہجرت واقعہ ہجرت ہی سے ہونا چاہیے تھا اور بفضل خداوندی ایسا ہی ہوا ۔
میں سال کی آمد کے موقع پر امہ مسلمہ کو مبارکباد پیش کرتا ہوں ۔
