Rapunzel was my favorite in the series and she's actually the only limited edition disney doll I own, and I totally respect your opinion! I've always understood why people didn't tend to like her even though I did (which I might be biased about because she's my favorite Disney princess). Basically it's a computer program designed to be able to complete the checkout process really quickly and generate fake credit card numbers all linked to one credit card. Scalpers use these programs to get many, many dolls in seconds and it is difficult for Disney to track that it's happening
Midnight Masquerade Belle is actually more popular than most people think. She was something of a sleeper hit last year. By resale trends, Belle ranks second behind Megara of the solo-releases.
Yes, the designers are Nonstopspiders and Steven Thompson. I honestly love the masquerade theme for this series and i love that it has characters that never maded in doll form, my favorites are Hades, Yzma, Esmeralda and Cinderella. Rapunzel, Belle and little bit Lady Tremaine are my least favorites.
When i first saw the rapunzel one i didn’t like her either - the face wasn’t the best and the dress was alright too /// great collection btw ! // hopefully they will make more characters next year ! :D
Just know, you're one of the lucky people that have nailed the collection, and earned the ' Coolest in the rink ' crown. ( While I'm stuck with only Giselle. but don't worry, my Baby-doll is good enough. She's the only one I need, and I'm very thankful for her. 💖 )
I do like how the designer went with the theme but the princess series was horrible in terms of quality. The villains were better but by my favourite line since the beginning of the designer collection in 2011 is the premiere series collection. I hope they continue the premiere series collection in 2021 with rapunzel, aurora, mulan ,megara and giselle
The quality is really fantastic and definitely up to par if not exceeding the quality of the original designer line. Look closely at the original designer line

Also, I didn't like this dress either, so I wasn't even interested in getting the masquerade version of her. Edit: Giselle is my favorite of this line. I wish they made her in the classic doll line like they did Esmeralda and Meg.
It's really strange that they didn't make a classic doll? They're using the cartoon version of her so the "they don't want to pay royalties to Amy Adams" explanation falls flat for me... I'm so excited for the new Rapunzel face mold! She looks SO MUCH like Rapunzel and so much prettier too!

I would appreciate something like Lady Tremaine, who even with a risky design, looks like she is taked out of the movie. But Maleficent doll looks like a young woman trying to dress like a sassy Maleficent for halloween... By the way, I get your feelings about Rapunzel. I like that doll, but is very simple compared to the other dolls of the line. I don't like the Enchanted set either. Prince Edward doesn't look good with Giselle. That doll looks like he is missing his neck, and Giselle has a very goofy face. My favourites in the line (in order) are: Hades, Esmeralda, Yzma, and the Aurora and Prince Phillip set.

Albany is FIVE hours away and Syracuse is around 4 hours away. Ohio was 2.5 New York is a HUGE state and I live at the bottom left part of New York. I would think you would be able to grasp that before leaving a comment acting smart lol

I wouldn't even try to expect better face molds for her, Rapunzel's just a tough one to get right. ( Now I'm certain that there are OOAK Rapunzel dolls that look a lot like the character, but still. )
