Hi your youtube nickname must have come from a SW song right? I am a huge fan of alot of the punk you have on here, but especially SW. Can you please send me a reply and let me know if you can help me out with any cdr copies of stuff you have on here or in your collection. One item I definitely need is Descendents "Bonus Cups" but there are others. I can compensate you for media, etc. Thanks. J
Ride the Wild is too solid. There's barely even the slightest amount of distortion on that guitar but it still squeals punk. Love it. Frank had that style.
I love this shit. Descendents were brilliant from the start. I wish they didn't re-do these on 9th and walnut. This ep was a masterpiece on its own as are most of bill's records.
I like the re-recordings of these. I definitely prefer the originals but it’s nice to hear what they sound like now, especially It’s A Hectic World which was really changed a lot actually to make it tighter and heavier.
Thanks so much for the music I have been a fan since somewhere around 13 or 14 years old I am now 47 and playing the drums 2 this one. Thanks again from ABQ NM

The sound of that snare in it’a a hectic world!!

Mikey Heywood it reminds me of the guitar sound that a lot of "indie" musicians use these days
I know this comment is a few years old, but I'd be interested in what you think of the rerecorded version on 9th and Walnut
@@obnoxiousNoxy that album rocks!
@@obnoxiousNoxy they really did something special with that new recording. Its sounds old and new at the same time. And Milo's voice fits in perfectly
RIP Frank Navetta

The re-releases are great in their own right. Nobody is stopping you from listening to these ones.
This is how I was introduce to the Decedents, in the backseat of one of my TA's car. Oh those summer nights.
This is on my want list.
Good luck finding it, buddy.
Yea. Good luck
That rolling bassline on Ride the wild....immediately different right there
Man, Ride the Wild is a killer song 🔥
A pitty that the rerecording doesn't have this feeling 🎪
It would be impossible to recapture the feel and tone of that song. I just happy we have the original!
Pioneers bro!..... punk af!

Best parts
So amazing
The age difference within the band is so evident from the lyrics.
thanks for uploading this!
It sounds like The Lurkers from UK or KSU from Poland.
Hey… you! 🐯 👍
Who's singing
Lombardo for Hectic and Navetta in Ride the Wild
@@elenchus great vocal that reminds me the lurkers or ksu.
Who sings here
sooo good, total classic! (just heard the walnut versions and had to come here disinfect my hearing and clear my memory from that lol)
the walnut versions are good though
man, they coulda been from the east bay
Kind of reminds me of the urinals
dankmemeslo l you spit on the Urinals
it's those lazy vocal harmonies. im a sucker for early punk bands that do that shit
also check out the dils
Redd cross
