    As someone who's lost 103 lbs and my weight goal is the same as yours Sharon, I have to do calorie counting, restrictive eating and intermittent fasting, because my income level is as such that poor doesn't offer decent meals, but after a year and a half, it's working! And I've qualified to have skin removal surgery which y'all 😬 there is some skin 😂. I still have a ways to go ,to get to my 160lbs ,but it's within reach. The biggest thing that helped me, THERAPY! changing my mental health, understanding and dealing with my mental health and trauma..and for the first time in my life , at the age of 55 ,all on my own, I've been able to lose weight,just by being mindful of what is going on in my life and what is going into my mouth. It really does work! And just in time for me to be diagnosed with a heart condition! Take care Sharon and everyone else, you matter ❤

      I'm with ya ! healthy things or extras are expensive! I started 2 years ago down 43 but just gets harder as you drop. So congratulations on your success🎉.

    Congrats on the weight loss! I wish more people realized how much calorie counting can work. I know the journey, it's a lot of work, but the rewards are worth it.

    Great job on all your hard work and continuing to find things that work well for how your body works. And excellent point about fiber and how you don't hear much from many sources about the importance of making sure to also add that in with your proteins, fats, carbs, and hydration. I love all the food choices and I'm going back to write this meal down to give it a go for myself. If you would have been able to cook what would have been on the menu?

    I'm down almost 50 pounds here as well. I do the calorie counting, along with the counting of the protein and fiber. It is the best thing to do without depriving yourself...cheers!!!

    Sharon I know you probably won't see this. But the reason why that works for you. It's because the fat and sugar in the other bad stuff that you eat is tricking your body and that helps you lose weight. You're supposed to do that 1 day a week At least that's what my aunt told me and it worked for me. She owns a gym.❤❤❤

    Speaking on the protein aspect, my doctor told me 150 grams of protein. I don't eat a lot of meat, so I do protein shakes, cottage cheese, stuff like that.

      It's not the first time I hear the 1 gram of protein per pound of goal weight. But I believe that amount was for a day, not for one meal.
      So if she has a goal weight of 160, she would have to eat 160g of protein per day. So your 150g makes sense (to me lol).

    The clear pee thing and constantly peeing caused me to have hyponatremia (severe low sodium) it was scary my brain stopped functioning right and almost went into a coma now I'm on fluid restriction so be careful ❤

    I know you are going to hit but but I live in Florida so that would be a reach. I like the cauliflower crust because it is thin and crunchy and that is the type of pizza I like. Try it, you might like it. They have it has a flat bread also.

    At the age of 55 after never drinking coffee,and hating the taste, ive had to start drinking 6oz a day, because ive been diagnosed with a heart condition and a liver issue. Yup apparently black coffee has medicinal benefits for your heart,liver and kidneys. It is so gross . I add protein powder to make it palatable 😂

    sweet, that's good to know regarding the hydration so I guess what I drink is sufficient for my body since I never have clear Number ones and that's coming from someone who hates drinking water so that's not something that I drink.

      Complex carbs might help you gain weight as well as some healthy fats . You don't necessarily have to eat unhealthy fats to gain weight. Avocado can help you out, hummus and pita can help you,as well as seeds and nuts. Hope you are successful in your health journey ❤

      I ask as a concerned fan. I would love to know what’s happening in her life, because I enjoyed her videos with Jair and with her wife. As an open influencer she should be able to answer questions about it, because she started all this together with others, not by herself.

      This is me as well. I start my day with warm water or tea, then some fruit and later in the morning a heavier breakfast with protein etc

      I can't stand coffee, tea, or soda and entries thinks I'm weird for it haha. I used to drink juice a lot so it's not like I was any better in reality. These days I just have water mainly. I'm thankful I do enjoy that. I have an energy drink once a year when I help moderate a charity stream. I'm up over 24hrs straight when I do that so I need *something*, lol. But waking up is rough. I am not a morning person but I dislike the things that help people wake up so I just suffer 😂

      @ispyamoose -- I don't drink tea or sodas as well.. the ONLY things I drink are water, coffee, milk, beer, & fruit juices!! 💗
