The closest Hot Topic is like 40 minutes away but all the other places I can work at 16 is terrifying and I feel like Hot Topic will be less intimidating. Literally everyone is so nice in there and whenever I wear a band tee or something they're like "Hey! MCR!" and the workers and I click. I wish it was closer, I'd be working by now, lol.

My ex girlfriend is the manager at the Hot topic near the local town we grew up in, and when we were dating back in 2007 I briefly worked there assisting and helping her fold T-Shirts and put them on racks. This was before Hot Topic became infested with shit pop culture stuff and was still about music. Even though I was doing it for free, it was definitely fun. Nothing beats a job where you get to listen to music majority of the day.
This is so cool to watch because I'm 16 and hottopic recently hired me and it's my first job and I start work tomorrowXD it's so cool and comforting to know that so many of my idols have worked there as well. Thank you so much hottopic and happy 25! \m/
