El primero en lograr el cuádruple salto fue Miguel Ángel Vázquez en 1981 a los 15 años con su hermano Juan como catcher. Gino Fuentes Gasca ganó el Festival Internacional de Circo de Montecarlo en el 2006 con un cuádruple salto mortal a los 18
