If I need more power to complete a task I have my i9 iMac. For the price of the 9th gen I would have to get 2x the value to justify buying the mini and it’s barely bigger than my iPhone. I’m SUPER happy with my purchase! 😃

Everyone can hear when I'm typing with it in the library (probably just me overthinking) but I'm sure I can adjust that in the settings. Just kinda inconvenient. Other than that, I really enjoy it overall
Multiple user support is desperately needed...that way a family could share the device more effectively. Perhaps Apple prefers that you buy everyone their own device though. Personally I wouldn't have bought the 9th gen IPad if I could have setup my own profile on my wife's 6th gen.
i have the 256 gb wi fi version since 2022 and in general i´m pretty happy with the smart folio keyboard and apple pencil 1 great buy use it as my second device essencially for consuption media and listening music.

In all the iPad 9 reviews I've watched.. no one mentions using a nice Bluetooth external speaker(2).. That can improve any iPad's sound tremendously. I like the legacy screen because I can hold the iPad without blocking any content. The iPen #1 is perfectly capable.. even if it may have a few esthetic differences than the #2 [plus the charging differences]. I just ordered my iPad 9! Nice review..!
I actually think its time for Apple to start changing up the accessories. Not so much make it work with the type cover but more the updated portfolio. The origami is not very good. I could see the next gen being the same form factor but going up to a 10.5” and adding the finger print scanner to the power button. I think the bezels would remain large though.
I always charge me 1st gen apple pencil with a cable. Only stick in the bottom when in a pinch. it's 100 dollars cheaper so that's nice. I'd like to have it stick to the side like the 2nd gen though. Anyway, I'm no artist and a $30 amazon sold pencil has worked fine since a flight attendant threw away my apple pencil with the lunch tray while I was in the restroom.
If youre using apple pencil you can actually see airgap between the screen and the glass. Since the bezel is black you can barely see the airgap if youre using it for multimedia consumption
