In my opinion, no song this year compares anywhere close to how amazing Portugal’s song is. I think that JESC needs to go back to requiring the singer(s) to have to write the song too. However, I think Spain is going to win this year. Last year, I was hearing Cœur all over TikTok and it won and this year, I keep hearing Como la Lola all over TikTok. I wouldn’t mind if it won though, Chloe is such a cute kid and she has a very catchy song.
It have to be between Estonia, Ukraine and Portugal, they are my top 3 and the 3 songs I think have the best chance of winning and my top 3 order with the countrys is like this: 🇺🇦🥇, 🇵🇹🥈, 🇪🇪🥉
This!!! Unfortunately I'm not sure how well Estonia will do with going second in the order but that's my top 3 (Ukraine, Portugal, Estonia) and I think Ukraine and Portugal both have a big chance of taking home the win!
My opinion on your prediction(please excuse that my English is not perfect): The Netherlands: I don't know... I mean, the song is catchy, it's of few bands this year, but it doesn't really stand out and the Netherlands definitely sent stronger entries the last two years, that both just got 7th.😭 I actually have the feeling that the Junior Eurovision juries dislike the Netherlands. They underrate the country over and over and over again(just look at 2017 - that's absolutely ridiculous). I don't really think, that the Netherlands have realistic chances to win. Estonia: The song definitely has potential and seems to be very popular in the Eurovision online community, but I'm not sure if the whole audience of Junior Eurovision will like this and I really worry about the juries. The running order spot is also very unlucky, but as we saw with Spain last year this doesn't have the same impact as in the adult version. At least I think 5% winning chances are very accurate. France: The song does not stand out very much, but come on: It's France! A big part of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest is French(I guess😂) and many of them probably think "Hey, why not voting for my own country, because it is my own country." If you look at the four countries with the most points in the televoting last year, you'll see: France, Spain, UK and Germany are also the four countries where the most people live.(of the participating countries) And I don't think we don't have to talk about the juries. I mean: France literally won the jury voting four times in a row! Armenia: To be honest: I have absolutely no idea how this will do in Madrid.😅 Portugal: Good song, amazing vocals and I'm very sure the staging will not ruin anything. Especially the juries will like this. In my opinion Portugal has the best chances to win this edition. Spain: I think this is comparable to Kvitka last year. I'm not sure about the juries, but the televoting... It's Spain and a big part of the audience are kids(I guess), so it has very good chances to win the televoting. Ukraine: This could be a possible winner, but it could also be this kind of fan favorite ending up surprisingly bad(I just say Kazi Mi, Kazi Mi Koj and To The Moon). But it definitely has potential to end up good in both jury and televoting. But there is one thing in this video I COMPLETELY DISAGREE with: If you add up the winning chances of the entries in the video you get 100%. That means all the other entries have absolutely no winning chances? Even if you add the winning chances of all the other ten entries up you don't get 1%? A surprise can definitely happen I believe it is much more likely that the winner is a suprise.(and would entries like Cyprus or Albania really but such a surprise?) I mean, who expected Lissandro to win in 2022? Congratulations for reading this long comment!😅
I don’t think juries hate the Netherlands. 2021 was a strong year, I found la fiesta very cute but the staging was a bit messy, last year was the same. If you look how insane the staging and acts were. Also the boy was vocally not on point while other countries nailed it. I think 7th place was a fair result and after all it isn’t bad. This year I don’t see them ending up higher than a 7th place, the song is okay but not great.
I honestly don’t see it happening. The song is okay but not great. I think 7th place again at best, but this year is so unpredictable that it would will come down to the live performance and act.
@@ylixlix1548 think like this, theres an underrated song by fans before the contest but during the final the song performs very well or gets an unexpected good result. this is what dark horse means
For me Germany and Albania are the dark horses with Portugal, France, Spain, Armenia and Ukraine having most chances to win. The Dutch song is just okay but not great, it feels a bit dated.
When small, not well-known country has a catchy and great song it still doesn't feel like a winner beacause of country, that's really sad for example if France, Spain etc. had Estonia's song they would probably win😐
I feel like estonia has a good chance bc you can vote for your top 3 and many people have estonia on their top 3 but just not on their first place so....
Ukraine has a really huge potentisl to win, Artem is very charismatic and he has a lot of talent. I believe he's got it. Estonia's song is lovely, I'm not sure it will win, but it could be their best result . I like France, but they have enough wins for now, if they'll win again... I think that Portugal will bring a good result if they put some effort in the preformance Also, unpopular opinion: I don't like Spain's entry, it's not my type right now
I almost thought it would be Lisbon 2025, and then an 🇦🇲 mind-blowing bop come out from nowhere. For me, 🇫🇷🇬🇪🇵🇹 will fared well with juryvote, while 🇳🇱🇪🇸🇺🇦 will scored high in public vote.
I swear if France wins again... Titouan isn't a bad singer and the song is good, but with the grip France and their you-can-change-the-world kiddie-pop has had on the juries for the past few years, I think it's time something more mature like Portugal or Estonia gets a chance. Also, I'm tired of entries that are closer to their country's culture getting ignored for the radio stuff. Ireland last year was an absolute scandal, Jessica sang really well and was just outshined by the other, more eye-catching entries like France. That's not to say that France shouldn't place well, as it no doubt will do, just that I'd like to see songs with more cultural influences being appreciated.
Ukraine 🇺🇦 Armenia 🇦🇲 Portugal 🇵🇹 Cyprus 🇨🇾 And Maybe Ireland. I think Cyprus is Flying under the radar this year. The song Live will be so much better than the studio version. That and it will be elevated further. I dont know why people dont consider this Winning Potential. I dont think France is winning Potential but Ive seen lots of people say it is so maybe I am missing something. Ireland i'm on the fence on. I am a Fan of the Netherlands, its even my favorite this year. However I havnt seen many other people put them in there Top 3 so I dont know if its going to do well but Hopefully Im wrong and it does well I think The Juries are more important in JESC then the Televote despite a 50/50 split. I have crunched the numbers and since 2017 when this system was introduced The Gap between the Jury winner and Last place in the Juries has been bigger than the Gap between the Televote winner and The Televote Last Place every year except 2020 when France won both the Jury and the Televote anyway. However the 2019 Jury difference was 148 Points and the Televote Difference 140 and Poland won the Televote but not the Jury vote and still won so it isnt the deciding Factor however Since 2021 the difference between the Jury First and Last place and the Televote First and Last Place has gotten bigger

Junior Eurovision doesn't have the rule that the winning country has to host the next one. The winning country gets right of first refusal meaning if they want it they get it and if they don't some other country does. They used to decide somewhat independently of the winner and sometimes they would sometimes select the next host country and city before the current contest had happened. It's only recently that they've been pretty consistent with the winning country hosting.
