Your meeting with Lucjan was so cool! I am Polish so this part of the video was most interesting to me :-) The dancing and singing the Polish song (Disco Polo) in the car was brilliant 🙂 Thank you very much for this video ! P.S. My dad lived in Chicago between 1989 and 1991 - exactly at the time when communism collapsed in Poland. P.S. Pozdrowienia dla Lucjana!
Wowowow! Thanks for the Chicago tour! So many interesting places to see. Louie is adorable. My kind of personality. Lol! Thanks also for the shout out to the Philippines. You still have many subscribers here you know. Lol! See you in your next video ok? (Hopefully you're in a warmer place now) 👋😊
I don't know if you've edited the rest of your Chicago trip, but I feel like the one thing missing is a shot of Louis eating. I felt so bad for him at the sausage place not getting some sausage. It looks like you had a great time, and your videos make Chicago seem very inviting.
Left Deerfield, IL back in 1991 for Irvine, CA, and was surprised upon returning that it has a sizable Russian speaking population. These immigrants ( a lot of them have Jewish connections) have lots of DIY projects so houses slowly being improved. Your Polish friend still has hint of an accent even after so many years. Met someone from Lincoln Park on Friday, and he doesn’t like the Cubs as it’s impossible to get around the neighborhood on game days. I always make sure I say I am not from Chicago as I grew up 23 miles to the north. It must be draining to endure the frustrations of coping with all the events and bureaucracy there. Did you try the Nando’s in West Loop?
Louie is so adorable! Stunning architecture there, the bean is crazy, nice meal with Lucjan!
my polish adopted mom used to make me polish potato pancakes as well as other polish dishes and it was absolutely amazing
