It has shit ratings because of production and especially terrible editing. Not to mention the shitty laugh track that 100% contributed to this show seeing an early grave. Never even got to complete season 1. They never wanted it to be a sit com. Thats what they got unfortunately.
It did get picked up. What happened is that Method and Red didn't like how it came out and it got taken down early; M&R were fighting with FOX over this
