    The cobbler’s kids never have shoes! Nice you can make something for yourself. Performing regularly makes us better at repair and building, I’m convinced of it. You remember the nuances of what an instrument needs to do live. Would never have thought to tune and play a tenor that way - clever! The bolt-on neck is a smart idea, should handle the tension really well over that scale length. That’s a full restoration on that guitar, a lot of work put in. Thanks for another great video!

    It's been years since I commented but I'm really liking the new franken instrument. I can see the details you are using could be carried over to other instruments. Can't wait to see the final outcome.

    Audy, I know this might be a world difference from whay you do currently, but would you ever or have you ever thought about making bowlback mandolins? That slotted headstock on the instrument made me think of classical instruments so I was curious!

      I've never made a bowl back, but I've worked on them in the past. I don't think I want to build one, but who knows, I might try one someday.
