Love these folks! They have a great store and an amazing story. You should get and read, 'More Than A Hobby.' There's a link in the description of the video. I devoured it after purchasing it at one of their stores in Texas. I opened it as soon as I got in the car and didn't leave there until I finished it. Real-life faith and guts. I had the distinct privilege of meeting both David Green and Mart Green in Tulsa at an ORU event. I approached them and thanked them for not only the financial investment they'd made at my alma mater but, at the leadership they brought to the school. (at least 'as' and perhaps more important than their money). I didn't think a lot about it because I've met several billionaires before. They weren't very reactive and both just kind of looked at me, but it blessed me to be able to shake their hands and let them know how I appreciated their work there. I laughed at myself as I walked away. HA! HA! Nonetheless, their actions and work say it all and that's truly what matters. Admire them. Respect them. Grateful to them. They are the 'real deal' in my view.
I'm 29 and have done very well for myself. I have also decided to live a very modest life style. I drive a $3000 car. I probably own less then $100,000 worth of "stuff", not including business assets. To me the camel through the eye of the needle applies to those that live a lavish life style with no intentions of making the world a better place.
I've sent David Green several emails and posts begging for help because my husband of eighteen years left me penniless and homeless at 62 years old with multiple disabilities and no one will help me at all.
Since hobby lobby won't close amid covid 19 and all the people dieing. I guess we can't stop his pyramid from being built. So we should all raise a lamb for the slaughter and paint our doorway with it's blood. So the angel of death will pass over.
The pandemic forced him to close his stores, but no one has forced him to lay off workers, forcing people out of their insurance plans. Yeah that's a lot people to pay for without money coming into the business (about 32000 employees). He is worth 6.2 billion dollars. If distributed evenly to his employees, they would all get about 190million before taxes. Now of course it's not reasonable for him to hand out ALL his money during a pandemic. But so far he has done the complete opposite. You will know them by the fruit they bare, and this guy is full of rotten apples.

David Green surely focused on the family. When he closed all his stores during the pandemic and paid none of its employees.
