  • The classic do-it-yourself mistake: Incorrect or poorly implemented connections. A quick bungle and bang - cracks appear! A perfect connection joint from your drywall is not that difficult and the effort is worth it. It doesn't matter whether it's to the ceiling or to the connecting solid or dry construction wall, whether to plaster or to wood: Connection joints, if they are done correctly, must not crack! Loads, small displacements, temperature differences or moisture can cause small movements at the joint in dry construction - this is perfectly normal. We can absorb these deformations with small tricks. Stay away from silicone and acrylic joints - the better solution is to use a separating strip for the connection - you can also use glass fiber joint tape. Our man for spatula Adi shows you how it's done - even the pro can learn something there ;)

About the "How To Drywall" series:
Tarkan, Adi and Michael are our Knauf demonstration masters. Her job is to support construction professionals with their drywall projects every day. For this season we have decided to collect the most important information, tips & tricks on the subject of drywall, in particular a stud wall with door and corner, for you. It doesn't matter whether you want to build a partition yourself or just a room divider - here you can learn first-hand from professional craftsmen how it's done. Knauf metal stud walls are an equivalent alternative to "light", solid interior walls for interior construction. Due to the dry and quick installation as well as the slim wall cross-sections, with the best thermal, sound and fire protection properties, partition walls made of plasterboard are particularly versatile. They are stable and provide the necessary peace and comfort in your own four walls.

Es wäre schön gewesen wenn ihr noch gezeigt hättet, wie man den Trennfix richtig anlegt. Da bin ich mir noch nicht so recht sicher.
    Ansonsten schöne Anleitung. Danke.
