Fabulous, this sound so good! Everything is just so well done, and all the instrumentation choices were perfect to make this what it is.
Keep going, I'm excited to see what you make next!

Great piece! I especially love the second part. The harmonic language reminds me of Thomas Newman.

Very good stuff. Doing full on orchestration sounds really intimidating, but I should probably try it sometime.

I think it takes less work than it seems! The hardest part is laying down a good harmony, which you can simply do on the piano, after that it's a matter of assigning the parts to the right instrument! The best way to learn that I think is listening to a lot of similar music and trying to identify what line was given to what instrument, after a while you get a natural feeling for it.
Well actually, the most annoying part is working with the damn event automations in FL Studio 💀

    Great work!
I loved that opening chord, a very 'unsure dissonance'. I like how the orchestration develops out from there. I loved the usage of the choir+piano, with that sort of flamenco-like downwards chord progression near the end.
For the second part, I liked the increased amount of momentum in the piece. It had a lot more movement, and I loved that interplay between the winds, glockenspiel and bass.
The third part had a rhythm that sort of reminded me of Mars from Holst's the Planets! Other than that, the work was very cinematic and elicited a pretty clear image. That ending was very romantic-era of you as well haha
Overall, great work! Looking forward to what you might write next!

Wow thank you for this detailed analysis!! I'm literally learning something new about my own piece ahah
I had very specific inspirations for the last two parts; I wanted the second to sound like a Thomas Newman thing and the last one was a mixture of "Dragons Den" from How To Train Your Dragon and "Flight of The Order of the Phoenix".
Thanks again, also Holst's Planets slaps lmao
