@@tessa1196 I hear you. When I watched a friend play this game, Kaidan or Steve always won with him too. He started romancing Kaidan (with mods and without misgendering) starting from ME1 and even dumped Liara for Kaidan! Said it just didn't feel right unless it was Kaidan or Steve romancing Shepard. He said he felt that shepard and kaidan's relationship had more feelings considering where they started from.
@@tc9114 Yes, absolutely in everything you just said :D I also play with ME1 mods so I can have full romance :D It broke my heart even more on Horizon :D I feel and see the meaning in their relationship, And Kaidan has interesting background.. Don't see that a lot of people have him for one of the worst characters. Recently I figure out that Kaidan's face actor is gay, so it felt more right in that. For me, it's strange seeing him with FemShep.
@@tessa1196 agreed. Femshep isn't right for kaidan. I just wish they had the same dialogue, love scenes and better kissing with MShep and Kaidan like they do with Femshep and Kaidan. To me it seems the straight and lesbian relationships in video games have better options, more choices, better scenes and better kisses. With m/m relationships in video games the kisses are always tilted, in a strange angle, or they look like all they did was press their lips together. Doesn't seem fair, but at least m/m relationships are a choice now in games, so that's good.
@@tc9114 It was a nice surprise that there are games like ME or Dragon Age with lgbt romances. I'm new in this and I'm sad that I didn't know these games when I was younger... I'm a little sad that with FemShep they have more romantic scenes and better lines.. I would switch them or make it the same for both genders.. But for me, the best representation is in Inquisition with Dorian. And kudos to Biware that they made it possible to start queer relationships in their oldest games :) After that I didn't know why they locked Kaidan gay romance in ME 1 even they had the lines ready.. I'm glad you texted, I'm always happy to find new people and even more with the same view on thing I love
