Not sure if you’re using a camera other than your iPhone, but if you do, Laowa makes a macro probe lens that is waterproof and can reach down below the surface a good 12+ inches. Makes for great reef shots! Very shallow depth of field though, so ya gotta rig up the camera and be patient for taking the right shots! No other lens will capture reef life like a macro probe lens, and I think Laowa is the only that makes one. Pricey though, at $1500 😬
Love those clams. Can’t wait to see them grow. You might consider scraping the back glass. I think it will look better on camera and make the corals pop more. It will add more contrast.
I have watched his Instagram live sales but too afraid of shipping. You having the problem with delivery is nearly worst case and still they looked great. It is also impressive they helped you out before and after the sale! Yes, please have him on if he can! His clams are all amazing!

For sure Clam Care info would be great. I have a bunch of clams now but it seems that I can keep clams for years but then go through a bunch of fails (13 clams in 1 week) in a short period of time that just crash even when I have clams doing great in the system. I tried to get on the Live sale but missed it due to the odd time. Hope they get their website up but shipping is still a huge concern these days.
For future reference you could've called them and had it held at location and you could've probably picked it up around 4pm or so. To avoid having it stay there all night
I'd put all the Clams in the sand bed together ...idk bout that ultra direct light and higher flow that's typical higher up in our tanks...I'd still give them some rock rubble to secure into as well
I feel like I want a clam, but I have a nano so i feel like to fluctuates too much and will get too big. Also the only spot it would look REALLY good in when it grows would be a high flow spot.
