no. since a very long time the remote keys have been there, and everytime you press the unlock or lock button the roll code(a code to unlock the car) is transmitted and recieved by the car, if the code match with one of the stored codes in the car the car unlocks, after one use the used roll code gets dumped and a random new roll codeis generated, so there is no way of capturing the signal and using the same signal to unlock/lock the car again, some other products which are vulnurable to this attack are electric locks, electric car side mirrior, electric car gas compartment gate, rbg lights,tv remote signals etc, the dude above has given incomplete information for some reason
the rolling code can also be bypassed by recording 3-4 consecutive unlock code. on a practicle scenario you will be needing 2 devices one which can used to run jammer on that frequency which will make the genuine unlock req fail and 2nd the Hackrf which will intercept the unlock request.
Can be used on old cars where codes are not rolling
