My gradpa used to brag hebgot his forst house for $120,000... it was 5 bed 3 bath, 2,200² feet. I have an appartment, 2 bed 2 bath, $2.200 per month. I hate the world i grew up into ):
Ya me too, I would love a mid size truck like the Ranger, but they’re at around the $55,000-60,000 or more CAD! Wish they could come down on prices because they’re crazy high
here in the US, Chevy has outsold Ford for the Month of march april.. Chevy's prices are high too, but they are lower than Ford... Ford was doomed when they bowed to the UAW and agreed to pay out more inconjunction with the EV flop, they want you and I to pay for their mistakes.
I should have clarified, LED daytime running lights like the previous 2023 design! Any XLT now doesn’t come equipped with them like before you could get them in the 302a package
I would never buy anything with Turbos... I had a 2016 EcoBoost 60k miles and 2 engines... Engineering or general Public don't know how Hot Turbos get. They get to1,875 degrees Fahrenheit. They're mounted 1/8 of an inch and no Heat Sheild between them, or Turbo Blancket.. In California Minimum Wage went from $8.50 10 years ago, 5 years Ago it was $15 per hour, and April 1, 2024 Minimum Wage in all of California Food Workers $20 per hour... I have footage of Bronco Raptor at $130,000 F150 Raptor R are from $209,000 to $130,000. Last year there was 1c and it was $260,000. Truck here Start at $90,000 and go to $130,000 and up.. I have footage on all of this. 👨🏻👍🏻🏎️🏁🚩🌲⛰️🧗🏻 The Markup still exist.
The white lariat does look good. Not a fan of the new 24 headlights but this setup looks pretty Descent but... Not for 90 k. Couldn't imagine what a limited F-150 goes for nowadays.
A little insight for you respectfully. If you went into the dealership, they would tell you that prices inflated during the pandemic driving sticker prices up no doubt, but incentives have become HUGE! I just purchased a 2024 Lariat 502A Powerboost etc, etc in Toronto with that similar sticker price but paid NOWHERE near that. If you were legitimately in the market and shopping you would know that.
I agree and know for sure that you don’t have to pay sticker, since being in Toronto, there’s a lot more dealers and more competition so people are fighting tooth and nail for a buck and a deal, but where do the sales people make money when you give all of that gross away? Even if you got $5000-$10,000 and were around the $85,000 price tag, the price of the truck is still overinflated compared too them being around the $70,000-$80,000 fully loaded before. Personally I would still hold off until rates come down and incentives are around the $10,000-$15,000 like they used to be in some months throughout the year, but depends on if incomes can keep up with these prices I presume!
Domestic mfg'rs are placing all there over head, recall costs, loss's ect in there trucks and SUV's . The domestics need to re evaluate CEO salaries and costs and start building quality not low grade way over priced junk
Buy used guys, I just got a fully loaded limited f150 2017 for 31k dollars. I have everything except digital cluster and massage seats. Why would you buy new ?
100% they did, Ford put a lot of R&D into EVs and now since they’re aren’t doing so well, they have to find a way to pay off that debt, so they jack prices up
I am looking for a truck at the moment. I went to a Ford dealer to try out their selection and dude...let me be honest. Ford, as it currently runs, produces nothing but plastic garbage. I drove a F150 XLT with the 2.7L Ecoboost. I already hated driving it, but after seeing the sticker at $69,700? I had to laugh. Wanting $70k for a truck that feels like it was made by Fisher-Price is a joke.
Guess you are daddy big bucks and can afford these ridiculous prices. Remember that Henry Fords idea was a vehicle for the average man to afford...these are not average man prices.
They come with complimentary recalls.
OMG! So Right. I’m stealing that one. 😂

Well, i was in the market for a newer "newish" truck...but not til they get back to $30,000 or under.

Ya it's insane how much things are now! This Lariat I saw for $95,000 was absolutely crazy!
@@6ixthGear which would be 69K in USD... What the hell is Ford thinking..
Chevys are made in Mexico is why they are cheaper!😢😢😢
@@brennan5220 Ford is on the verge of being the same... some of the components come from canada IIRC
STX does have LED lights now. They're call LED reflector headlights and they are standard, not listed on the sticker.
I should have clarified, LED daytime running lights like the previous 2023 design! Any XLT now doesn’t come equipped with them like before you could get them in the 302a package
I bought my XLT 2020 off the lease last month, the same truck now is 24K more today. You are not exaggerating today's insane pricing.

Wow I paid 50k$ vor a 2020 Lariat
I bought a real ST Explorer in 21 for 59k. Ridiculous.

Ya crazy, prices are insane nowadays! They don’t even do Limited trims anymore, just Platinum now!
The ceo of ford is killing the company

Did you lease or finance? What was the total out the door?
I can afford just about any vehicle. I just can't justify the cost. I'm out
Did that just say 12 mpg. Combined rich people prices for the dang thing plus The government running up gas prices turns me off.
Yea not too good right now
The12 is litres per 100 kms. About 23.6 mpg imperial gallon.
Domestic mfg'rs are placing all there over head, recall costs, loss's ect in there trucks and SUV's . The domestics need to re evaluate CEO salaries and costs and start building quality not low grade way over priced junk
You’ll own nothing and be happy
Wise words of daddy Trudeau 🤣

Used might be the way to go now for some people for sure!
90K for a Bronco if you ll pay that you need your head read.
I wonder if the EVs had anything to do with ford needing to do this.
100% they did, Ford put a lot of R&D into EVs and now since they’re aren’t doing so well, they have to find a way to pay off that debt, so they jack prices up
$95K for an F150? No thanks I'll stick to my 2011 Ford F150 with a 5.0L Coyote V8 in it.
Insane isn’t it? Not even a fully loaded truck either
@6ixthGear Agreed and since it has twin turbos (which can go wrong at anytime) is a huge no go for me as well.

Welcome to Trudeau’s Canada.
Yes sirr
Listening to you whine about truck prices is not fun to watch. Provide something of value and more people would watch. Blah! Good luck.
Guess you are daddy big bucks and can afford these ridiculous prices. Remember that Henry Fords idea was a vehicle for the average man to afford...these are not average man prices.
Good point!
How does me talking about how expensive truck prices are nowadays me whining? I guess stating facts now on high inflated items is whining…
