The Korean rock band The Rose. Woosung, the leader. electric guitar, Their fandom is called the Black Rose. I found out about him when he was feat with August D/Suga on The Snooze. There is an mv with just a band and them two. Woosung is fluent in English, and I think maybe Dojoon, the pianist is as well. They have a lot of great songs. They just toured in the US back in the fall. Enjoyed the reaction.
Woosung is American. Don't remember where in the US he was born but he was raised in LA. That's why he has some solo stuff that he did while the other members served in the military.

The Rose is definitely not kpop. I really like them. Woosung, the lead vocalist, has such a beautiful unique voice

The term “banger” is often overused, but it is the perfect term for this song. It makes you want to pick something up and bang it on other things.😂

I love the Rose. Woo-sung is American, himself and the other members,I believe are from Korea. Their an indy band. More or less alternative rock. His voice Is so beautiful. This song is a fun shouting song. A lot of his songs are very beautiful...like ILYSM . ..and Sorry....just beautiful.
Well done. I am 69 year old who absolutely loved these guys. Great vocals, great messages, and really talented musicians. Please check out more of their music. I love this song! Their other song is "Alive". Also a great ballad from them is "ILYSB" (I love you so bad).

The Rose is my favorite rock band! The last album Dual is all in English. You will probably love Alive and Nauseous. The Definition of Ugly is my favorite song, slow and sad, but the guitar solo is amazing 👏.
Love them so much. I'll be at the show in Amsterdam in 10 days. It will be my 3rd concert of The Rose. I saw them in January 2023 for the Heal together tour in a little venue for max 2500 people. Less than 1 year later, they perform at LA Kia Forum and it was sold out. They are at Coachella this year too. What a jump!
They are fantastic! So glad you're looking into them. A lot of their lyrics are very deep and emotional. You should take a listen to She's in the Rain, Wonder, Childhood, Sorry..... So many others lol.
I love the lead singer's vocals, hopefully you check out more. I actually prefer his solo album, still a wonderful band.

You must listen to Alive and Wonder...thay are so good...and the rose is not a kpop they're rock indie band from korea...they're fluent in english....coz the leader Woosung is american though he was born in korea...

The Rose is my second favorite Korean band, after BTS. Woosung, the lead singer, was born in Korea but raised in LA. He is Korean-American. He sort of stumbled into an audition with a Korean label as he was planning to start college in California, and they brought him to Korea as a trainee. He met the members of a busking band called Windfall, and they recruited him and changed the name of the group to The Rose. They participated in one of the Korean competition shows and signed to a label. They saw a fair amount of success, but they ended up suing their label due to the harsh promotional schedule and not having been paid in the three years since debut. As that was going on, the three Korean members joined the military, and Woosung returned to the US and worked on. Released, and toured a solo album. They settled their case with the label and got free of it, then started their own label called Windfall, after the original band name. They are now independent. I found them not long after BTS; when they were blowing up on Tik Tok with a couple of their older songs (Sorry, You’re Beautiful), and nobody knew if they’d be able to get back together. I really like their music - it brings me back to my high school and college days following all the 80’s bands like Journey, Styx, Def Lepperd, etc., etc. They are great; I think they have a bright future.

On Suga of BTS's ..August D ,D Day album, they collabed on a song called Snooze. Beautiful song. Suga raps and woosung sings. Their is a video of them playing on a stage together si ging it. I think it may be the official MV tho. May have to watch it aside from reaction videos...Suga is also playing a guitar in it.
