My mom had a ruptured colon. The surgeon said it was one of the three worse cases he had seen. He was basically telling us she was going to die. But my mom wasn’t saved, and I prayed to Jesus saying… Jesus, people will say she’s going to a better place but you know that’s not true, my mom isn’t saved, please give her more time on this earth. My mom lived another 14+ years and was born again before she died. All the glory to Jesus. Praise his holy name. 🙌
What a testimony! Reminds me of my own testimony, but different circumstances. I was abused as a child by a priest. I never told anyone and suffered IMMENSELY. I was a teen mom at 18, became a drug addict at 21, lied cheated and stole to get what I needed for my addiction, I was a stripper at a strip club to make the money to support my habit... then I got clean in Feb of 2009 (15yrs clean this year, praise Jesus) and found out in May I was pregnant. Sadly, everyone around me convinced me and my now husband that we couldn't have a baby at that time in our life...we listened, and had an abortion on July 16, 2009. I will never forget that day. The worst day of my life. After that, I suffered greatly with depression and anxiety. Tried to commit self harm twice because of the grief I felt from aborting my own flesh and blood. The guilt consumed me! God blessed me with 2 more children after my abortion, but they were miracles. I had issues from the abortion and wasn't supposed to be able to have anymore children. God had other plans for me, though. Even then, though, I still hadn't given my life to Christ. It wasn't until COVID hit that I came to God. On June 27, 2021 I fully surrendered my life to my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Today, I'm a Wife to a God-fearing husband (been together our whole lives), a Mother to 4 handsome young men, and a 2x business owner. God has blessed me beyond measure.... even through all of my sins. We don't deserve His mercy and grace, but when we repent for our sins He showers us with love. I'm so happy that your Mother was saved before passing❤ God bless you!
