Dear Jenny, I need your advice on the following issue please: I've started a new job like a week now and I am on the onboarding process. I am said it will take up to 3 month. I am provided with an induction plan with formal self-reading material. I have daily 1h meetings with my manager but afterwards I feel completely lost on what I should be doing as I dont have any assigned tasks to me. Is it normal, and if not what should I do ?
@nomorepartiezz thats good, I'm going to try and get my first job soon. Thinking in the food line just because thats whats closest. Any tips or anything I should know?
I'm an introvert and tomorrow will be my first day on my new job. I've been on this career for more than 15 years and met a lot of people during my journey but as an introvert I always need to practice and assume the worst scenario and that's why I'm here looking for some techniques and opinions to prepare ahead. Knowing my weakness is the best defense I had. It doesn't necessarily means that I am a negative thinking person but instead I am thinking ahead and preparing to overcome the challenges ahead. 😄 Thanks for this video.
I'm an introvert too, with social anxiety. I think being an introvert is a huge benefit when meeting new people! Most people just want to talk about themselves and have someone listen so they feel important. Do that and you'll be liked, and learn a lot about your new coworkers and the dynamics at the company!
I'm am introvert and tomorrow I'm joining new company. Having 4 years of work experience but still I'm having this issue while speaking to new person 😭
Thanks for this video. My main sticking point is that my name is uncommon (it sounds like an unrelated English word, but spells differently), so do you think I should spell out my name in my introduction?
Hi nice to watch your video is a very you full for me my ambition start new service type business can you give me some idea like how make company profiles .how to approach first customer
Are you ready to make your impressive intro?

A persons name IS the sweetest sound to them. Using it in conversation is a great way to build a connection :) Great tip!!!
Not really. I just listen for my name to see if the other person was paying attention.
So true Makeda!

Is it normal to watch videos like these and start to feel more and more like you dont give a shit actually. Might as well quiet quit on day 1. 🤷♀️
If you want to try and appear intelligent pronounce words properly like "Oppor tune ity" and not "Oppor toon ity" omg !
Granted and not granite
Please stop overacting....
