ZHENG & A YUN GA are actually college classmates & roommates!!!!! They literally stayed together everyday for four years!! And they played as a couple in their graduation musical, which contained love scenes and kiss scenes XDDD
You girls are amazing. I guess you two surpass almost every reactors for "Super Vocal" in terms of quantity of songs and cheering XD. While this song showcases Zheng's passionate singing and Cai's beautiful voice, this performance is hardly a perfect one, even for fans from the show. One of the judges commented that their voices are "fighting with each other". After the song, Zheng claimed he was nervous before the performance; while Cai stated that Zheng had been giving him some suggestions on how to perform this song but he did not agree with him, in which he was apologetic about that. Nonetheless this song features the start of the beautiful friendship of Cai and Zheng. The two did not know each other before show and has become very good friends now. Before this song, Zheng took Cai out for a meal, sharing his own love stories in the past, so as to let both to grasp the "sad" and "struggling" emotion of the song. Cai was so touched by Zheng's stories which he cried. In his later interviews, Cai always recall this performance. He claimed that he "was never interested in musical theatre before coming to the show and knowing Zheng and Ayunge." He amused on his own performance as well. Meanwhile, you can see Cai's improvements in Singer 2019 on his delivery of the song's mood. You girls have almost exhausted the song list for Zheng, Ayunge and Cai. If you like Ayuga and super vocal, you don’t want to miss this performance by Ayunga and Jia Fan who is the most underrated singer in that show. He’s as good, if not better, as any of the other ones. The name of this song is “the river of life”. Amazing performance, often overlooked because it’s a simple song without fancy high notes.
