Finally got hands on the Resurgence Booster Digimon! This Resurgence Booster Opening Digimon set contains a tone of awesome reprints which is fantastic for new players that are getting into the game! I will be having a Resurgence Booster Opening. The Resurgence Booster pack cards are all holo and foil giving many cards an upgrade! Digimon TCG rb01 might be the best set! RB01 Digimon also has a ton of Ghost Game cards featuring Gammaemon, Jellymon, and Angoramon from the Digimon RB01 Opening. Hopefully we pull something nice from the RB01 Digimon Unboxing and the RB01 Digimon English version! Digimon RB01 Unboxing is very exciting and Digimon RB01 English also has several exclusive cards! The Digimon RB01 English Card List from the Digimon Card Game RB01 set has a slightly smaller card pool compared to all other regular sets.

meanwhile me, be playin' since day one and still didn't have any of the staples because the were so hard to get both from a monetary and sheer quantity apect: yes...for new players...
It's great too for people who didn't get into the game till mid way through. I only started playing around the time of BT05, so I was missing a lot of the good stuff from the first few sets. I was able to pull a full playset of DemiMeramon from one box, plus stuff like HPD and that sorta thing

Looking forward to seeing it, i have my own gammamon deck that is playable but just missing a couple pieces to help it really pop off... still a ton of fun to play
I just started getting into the game and bought a case of this set so im glad i choose right for my first set
I disagree that this is a good set for new players to buy, but is a good time for new players to start playing the game and buy singles. The costs of the old cards have gone down significantly and became much more accessible. This set is not good if you're trying to build anything specific outside of Jellymon and Angoramon. If you want to build Gammamon, good luck pulling a Proximamon, 1 of the 6 possible SEC you can pull out of the two SEC slots that a box can have.
I bot two boxes of the RB set and pulled 3 Proximamon, two of which were alt arts
You lucky dog! Congratulations! I bought 2 boxes and got 0 proxima, 0 Siriusmon and only 1 Gammamon rare. Which basically killed any ideas I had about building the gammamon deck.
Oh, also, it's worth noting that the alt art proximas are more common than the regular art. 2:7 chance of pulling an alt art but only a 1:7 chance for the regular.
A quick PSA for those who don't know, there is a set distribution of old and new cards in every box which makes the RB01 cards a fair bit rarer than the reprints. You will only get 8 RB01 Rares and 4 RB01 SRs per box.
The packs and boxes break down like this:
Each pack has 6 common/uncommon reprint cards, 3 new RB01 commons/uncommons, 1 rare (either RB01 or reprint), 1 promo card and 1 SR/SEC. For box distribution, there are 8 new RB01 rares and 16 reprint rares per box. There also appear to be 19 Reprint SRs and 4 RB01 SRs per box. Plus one SEC. And 2 of the RB01 SRs/Secrets will be Alt Arts. This actually makes the chances of getting rares cards lower than the SRs as there are a total of 32 rares and 21 SRs.
This also means you are more likely to get the Alt Art Proximamon than the regular art.

I suggest any local game stores around your area! Best way to start is to search on Google for Digimon card stores!
@@AVAULT I saw Beat Buy and Target have Typhoon so I think buying from them will be reliable but I'll check out the local stores because they should have better deals

I loved this set, but I have to disagree with you that this is a perfect set to start with if your new to the game. The set suffers from several short print cards, the ghost game stuff is nice but you're really going to struggle getting the SR for the Jellymon, Gammamon, and Angoramon lines and some of the RB1 tamers. The memory boosts seem to dominate the SR slots and the addition of 6 SEC really lowers the chance of hitting the needed cards. Other than that, it's an excellent set for cards that were getting rather expensive.

In Japanese there are two rare slots. And you have the chance to get two SEC and AA too.

I did end up ordering 1 box, then a day later I caved and ordered another one.😅 since I only just got into this a few weeks ago via ex 01 boxes, I wanted to have a go at this one.
