I love layering stencils, but never thought of spritzing with water to soften the edges and blend. Great idea!! I also have all kinds of brushes, not a complete set among them. I like your videos and enjoy your manner of speaking and presentation. Edited to add: Thanks for the sentiments download.
Thank you Laurel! I love your use what you have attitude! Stenciling is intimidating to me! But you make it look so easy! Then adding it to a card is another issue:)
I love love love your videos - whenever I need a creative bump, I check out one of your videos for inspiration. As a transplanted Chicagoan living in the UK, I have to pay full whack for the fab US products you demo, that is, if they are available here. When I go back home, I do fill a suitcase with crafty finds (who needs clothes!), but in the meanwhile, I secure my One Ton stamp/dies from NEW ZEALAND! It is all worth it
You showed that watercolor technique at summit earlier this year and I LOVED the technique! I did it with layering stamps too. LOVE LOVE LOVE this technique. Thank you!
Another great video with another new technique for me. I have to tell you - the best part of the video was opening up your email to your tongue sticking out. Your are a riot!!! Always put a smile on my face -
Awesome Laurel, just putchased my first layering stencil plus die set, they arrived yesterday so guess what I will be doing today. Cheers from New Zealand.
thank you for the download, yay..I am new to the layering stencils, but I love them already. Have you tried markers with your stencils? (not necessarily the layering ones tho) With certain ones, the effect is awesome. I also love adding glitter with a gluepen to add details within the design (eg stripes on a pineapple) I have a single stencil that works so well with this approach, it has flowers and leaves (and a pineapple) which leaves outlines blank (the color of your cardstock)
What a beautiful technique ❣️ It looks really like watercolor, it’s amazing… like everything I see in your channel. Looking forward to your next video. Awesome 🥰 Thank you so much😘
These are simple. I have tried to work on Altenew with no success. Maybe you can show us how theirs work because you have to turn them all over the globe and things are very unclear. Thanks!
I just LOVE your videos and you as you make watching fun and give confidence to the viewers- that we can "DO IT".
Awe! Thank you! Oh, you can do it! :):)
