Thank you Pro-Line, you make SUPER good parts. Unbelievable!
thanks for video was very helpful. just purchased faultline 2.2 wheel with sand paw 2.2 tires and am thrilled to try them
Rockin this exact set up on my slash 2wd exept i have those same rims on the front but I got the split six for the back I didn't notice until I got home lmao they looked so similar on the shelf and I just grabbed them without really looking, it's cool tho I like the look.
I wish you guys still made the Masher tires. I had a set on my Revo 3.3 and they were awesome!
They do still make the Masher tires, I'm just not sure if they make them in a 3.8 size. The 3.8 Trenchers are also pretty good.
Why 2.2/3" bead-lock wheels are not available with 17mm Hex from Proline ?
1/10 scale short course trucks use 12mm hexes, standard these days, ever since the Traxxas Slash came out and maybe a little bit before.
Ok tks god bless you
Will these rims stay on the tire if you balloon them alot and stuff? Have a bandit Vxl and it makes glued tires come off the rims alot, but will these hold up better?
What would be a stiffer replacement foam that would work with these 2.2/3.0 beadlock rims?
Do you need specific tires. I purchased these and used aka gridiron tires. Spun out of them in 2 laps.
They look great but the inner wall always seems to fly off no matter what. The plastic threads don't help, maybe a bolt through setup...they seem to a bit on the heavy side too.
I just ordered the f11 beadlocs from proline for my losi tenacity are they compatible with all 2.2 SCT tires or are they specifically made to only hold proline tires??
Is that red outer beads aluminum or plastic?
The outer ring is cast-metal
Did anybody use these for the drag tires
Hi what's better glue or those
Hello Manuel, the best thing about Bead-Locs is that you can switch out your tires easily for different terrains. while our bead-locs are designed to hold our Tires TIGHT, choosing a glued tire/wheel combo will definitely offer the strongest hold of your bead. this is usually ideal for a race scenario where a pulled bead could be detrimental to your lap time, however, on the flip side, if you pull a bead on a bead-loc, you just loosen it up, re-position and then tighten it back down! :) its really your choice, both options are good.
so are the f-11 made for brushless power on my slash 4x4? i think the 6 split spoke aren't made for brushless power is says
Don't always trust what tower hobbies says. I have the split six bead-loc wheels on my brushless powered and lipo powered HPI Blitz ESE and they're doing just fine.
what size allen key did you use
Hello Federiko, the screws have a 2mm hex
Use silicone in place of glue so u can still change out tires. Running on 3s will still cause tires to blow off of rims. Not nearly as easy as regular wheels but it still happens
I found the glued tyres on 3s hold out pretty well, these come off after any form of hard driving.
Will the beadlocks blow off the tire or are they better then glued?
thank you! where can i get that power tool?
+chris boshears It's a Makita DF010D and you can pick one up at most hardware stores..
No glue?
That is correct, no glue is required, this is a real bead-loc system!
Indeed! Gluing and un-gluing tires, especially 2.8's, are kind of a mess.
dude??? close up?? I can't see what your talking about
Agreed !
