It's so refreshing to see someone who isn't blindly simping for the dragons in the comments. All five of them have done some very questionable deals on the show but some people get weirdly defensive over them and insist they put the angel in angel investor.
I like that we were told where the patent had been approved and where it was pending, they often edit out that detail and it was a transparent way of saying “I’ve made progress but not everywhere yet”. Theo is a bit obsessed with sturdiness, it wasn’t meant to be a like for like replacement for all cable ties.
He took the deal... Good!!!... because its obvious turning over £8K per month he didn't have the no how or the contacts,,, 80 Countries, patterns pending,,, WoW... even if they asked for 66%... still awesome!!!
Probably the sharpest pitch I have ever seen, very satysfying. Just with the negotiation had a bit more more going on, also I do feel like 50% was maybe just a bit too much, he should have atleast countered with 40 to maybe get them to 45, get those few odd percent to give out to those who have helped him out. Regardless, very refreshing pitch, loved every second of it and I hope Andy is doing well.
Seems like he didn't have any idea about how to expand the business himself and although the offer was greedy, it's between to have 50% of a potentially massive business than 100% of a tiny one. Great product.
this does not change the fact that in Australia there are 48 million kangaroos and in Uruguay there are 3,457,380 inhabitants. So if the kangaroos decide to invade Uruguay, each Uruguayan will have to fight 14 kangaroos
Quentin Tarantino does NOT need £150K
Ha, yes I knew I'd seen him somewhere before.
He made 36 odd million on this
Excellent pitch. The dragons were a bit greedy wanting 50%. I hope he's done well.
They’re always like that lol
valued at 61 Million in 2019!
Duncan being very patronising, 'we couldn't better it'. They can they just don't want to. Pure greed by both guys
Duncan is never very nice to people unless it's a pretty lady.

Isn't what Theo says around 2:40 an odd thing to say? My brain did not go to hanging people through it 😅
Yeah 😂 Theo out here torturing people 😂

Duncan tried to eat it

i had a dragons' den obsession this time last year already and i fear it's back
I used to but I got a little bit put off cos half the deals don't actually happen
Theo came across like a pleb in this, can’t lie
Look up "Cassetteboy Dragons Den". Because of that video, I simply cannot watch this one with a straight face.

anybody have an update on this entrepreneur?
From what I've read, he stood firmly by his IP and made millions off of this gadget.
Seems like he didn't have any idea about how to expand the business himself and although the offer was greedy, it's between to have 50% of a potentially massive business than 100% of a tiny one. Great product.
Vultures
pc builders wud love these.
Title is wrong, the dragons weren't "In Love" with it. James seemed to like it the most over the others.
