Thanks for that info!! Also I was a Gap employee, and every year at Gap Kids during the last week of May, and in stores only, they have their biggest unadvertised sale of the year especially for Girls youth sizes 6 to 16!! In years past I have actually called my local Gap and asked them the specific day it's going to start, It's usually been a Thursday (before the weekend shoppers hit) They tell me, and every year I have gotten bags, and bags of clothes for my daughter, nieces, and clothes to giveaway at back to school drives, at rock bottom prices as in .97 cents for cute tshirts, $2-3 for pants, shorts, skirts. I save my money for that sale every year! I've also found that going to higher $$$ end shopping centers have a bigger selection and fewer shoppers. Also my friend, a pharmacist for Target let me in on a secret years ago that has saved us tons of $$. I live in Florida where there are many different retirement villages and that's where we hit up Target and get all of our back to school supplies for deep discounts. Sometimes right before school starts or within the first week they are on clearance with a full stock selection. I actually prefer to wait until my high schoolers have gone to school for a couple days, so I know exactly what they need and don't waste money on the unnecessary items. My local Walmart always clearances out a ton of toys at the end of August/first of September. I have gotten some awesome toys for only $10 and had great presents for Christmas. We are keeping an eye out for a new couch in the near future. I might have to start pricing them out now so I can get a good deal.

We need a patio set, grill, lawn mower, we want to update all the appliances too, also spruce up the front and backyard! My husband and I also work from home and our laptop broke so we are down to 1 computer which is driving me crazy so we will wait until June and hopefully we will find some good deals on that!! I'm definitely taking notes. We have quite a few things to buy coming up (graduation stuff, college stuff, outdoor furniture and toys, etc). But one item needed particularly soon is a lawn mower. We need to purchase one very soon, although I'd love to wait until August to get an amazing deal. It's a good thing I bargain hunt throughout the year. That way when I have to pay near full price (I always wait for some kind of discount) it doesn't bother me as much.
I've always done shoe shopping around spring time I always get great deals. Also start Christmas planning in September and start shopping in October. Sounds crazy but I always save about $500 and get what I want!! This video helped a lot, I was about to shop for a new wedding ring but I know to wait in July!!:)
