The Faraana Reef Resort is a splendid facility strategically located to admire the wonderful sandy beach of Ras Om El Sid at its feet and a beautiful view of the Ras Mohammed National Park.
Ras Um Sid, located just few miles south of Na’ama Bay, is fringed by a narrow coral reef. With its reef flat colonized by dozens of giant clams and its spectacular reef drop-off on the Red Sea, is one of the top snorkeling spots accessible from the shore in Sharm el-Sheikh.
The Faraana Reef is located in front of the splendid Ras Um Sid beach, reachable via a staircase, and equipped with umbrellas and sunbeds, available while supplies last. Beach towels are provided free of charge. At this coast location, the seabed slopes gently and, therefore, it is possible to access the sea directly from the beach, thus making it safer even for the little ones.
